Dark Souls 1 was the game to really make me fall in love with soulsborne games. It was the first one I got all of the achievements for. I played it right after getting laid off before the pandemic lockdown. Sekiro and DS1 are easily my favorite soulsborne games.
Bloodborne doesn’t need a complete Remaster…it just needs 60FPS and it’s still gonna look amazing. Just look at the 60FPS Bloodborne videos that are on RUclips right now 🔥🔥🔥
Hard disagree. I recently 100% DS3 after Sekiro and 1 thing that killed my enjoyment was draw distance, Texture pop-in or whatever you want to call it. Just terrible. Sekiro and Elden Ring no such problems. All their games need remakes on Elden Ring engine since they are very dated. DS1 and 2 have ps2 era graphics. DS3 dated graphics with Terrible draw distance, Bloodborne must be the same since same engine.
Nah I just played it and its currently the worst looking entry since DS1 and Demon Souls got some love. Even DS2 looks better in my opinion. I had a blast with bloodborne the last few days but if I had one gripe it would be the awful visuals and performance. 60fps would only fix half that problem, the textures and draw distance are atrocious. An incredible game with amazing aesthetics, but still looks rough now.
I platinumed Demon's Soul and it is my favorite souls game. I played all of them and prior platinumed Bloodborne. I've finished Demon's Souls at NG+3. As you, i went to it blindly, which meant NG+ would be challenging, but the mechanics of the game is my favorite part. The character and world tendencies, the mechanic of being in human or soul form, I mean it all is amazing. My favorite game of FS.
I played all soulsborne games(except ds2) and i gotta say demon souls is by far the worst souls game so i truly commend you for liking this despicable game.
For me, Demon's Souls is the best Souls, closely followed by Bloodborne. These 2 were the only Soulsborne Games which encouraged me to 100% them. The other Soulsborne Titles were great too, but were missing some of that special Feeling and Atmosphere from these 2 Sony Exclusives. BTW i like DS2 quite a Bit 👍
Wtf are you saying? World tendency is bull and if it’s black guess what? you need to start a ng+ and ng+ in demons souls is bs and the bosses are super easy in stupid it’s old and the remake is just music and graphics
DS2 was my very first dark souls game I ever played… as well as the first platinum trophy I had every gotten. It holds a special spot for all games for me. I’d rate this game easy A debatable S tier myself 😊
@@GraaD-87I’ve only played bloodborne but I’ve heard demon souls and ds2 are the weaker games I wanna play ds3 but I feel like I have to play all the ones before idk what to do cause I wanna try Elden ring too! But bloodborne is amazing
@@danterodriguez2610 Different people have different preferences... But I strongly believe DS3 is undoubtedly the weakest in the whole series, while DS2 and Bloodborne are the best ones. That said, just go for Elden Ring. There's no need to play Dark Souls games before it.
@@GraaD-87 thanks yeah im enjoying bloodborne a ton and Elden ring seems a lot like dark souls just better lol probably gonna go for that next since it has the dlc and they went crazy with the bloodborne dlc so I have high expectations!
@@danterodriguez2610demon souls is probably easier compared to most games but it’s still good fun and if you play the remake it has pretty cool graphics
In Elden Ring the Feeling of Immersion was way stronger than in the other Games. You can go to every point you can see, the Exploration was much stronger in this Game than in the Others. For me that rocketed it to the Top. It felt like a hard journey where i struggled if i should go further, not vecause it was hard but because it took so long, to feel this in a video Game (played multiple Games with 100 to 200 hours but didnt feeled that).. for me its one of the best video games made until now.
Spot on. I didn't play DS1, they hail it for exploration too. But for all other FS games not one come even close to Elden Ring in world building and the sheer joy of exploring this vast beautiful world. The amount of absolutely unforgettable moments in this game simply from getting to new areas or revealing some secrets is astonishing.
In my case everything is different. I've always felt like ER was derivative of Dark Souls. And when I saw new places, I silently thought to myself: This is a familiar place.. I’ve already seen this somewhere.. Like in a dream.. I caught Deja Vu, which interfered with the holistic atmosphere of the game. It's like a dream world, but not as realistic as the cursed and gloomy world of Yharnam, Lordran, Lothric could be, and not as historical as Sekiro.
bloodborne the only souls game I have platinum and my favourite one. I fell in love with its aggressive fighting mechanic where you just dive into enemies attacks on an instict and tear monsters minsters apart like a savage
That's crazy! Demon's Souls is easily one of my favorites. I will agree that NG+ on this game is easily the hardest NG+ of the entire series. Flamelurker becomes pretty brutally hard on NG+.
Dark souls 2 is better than Dark souls 1 and i'm tired of pretending that it's not tbh. The creativity, uniqueness, variety and level design is just phenomenal, especially in the DLC.
I’m relatively new to souls and currently have platinum’d bloodborne almost done with DS3, and have DS1 and Elden Ring in my queue. Let’s go! Every one of these games is a masterpiece, praise the sun!
Man i wish i could be at your stage. Im platinumed em all and boy i dunno what to do now 😅 even started to play soulslike while waiting on new content of fromsoftware
Not gonna lie. the powerstance feature. The stat scaling armor, Bonfire ascetics etc of DS2 are awesome and unique innovations that have yet to be repeated. It's stat spread is awesome as well. DS2 also has awesome lore. If not for the somewhat clunky movements and graphics it very well could have been my favorite souls game. It has everything in masterclass but a smooth system. But it's heavily underrated.
Playing Ds2 for the first time now, I've had a good time and the unique aspects are cool but it does feel less polished and balanced. I've also been really disappointed with the bosses because it feels like most of them are too easy, meanwhile some levels are just packed with enemies that 2 shot you. I'm on the Iron King DLC right now and feel like giving up at this point because some parts are just insane with the gank squads.
Its so interesting that you can have a player like me who found Bloodborne fairly easy overall, but struggled with Sekiro - and a player like you who found it to be the exact opposite. That's, pretty friggin cool haha
I dont get people who finds Sekiro easy... Ive finished all these games without problems except Sekiro... Im simply not talented enough to finish the damn game :(
Yeah same sekiro was the hardest but fun as hell. I loved fighting father owl many times, Isshin ashina was the worst by far. Surprised he had the complete opposite experience.
@@hpd_heroi thought it got easier and easier the more you played it. Dont get me wrong it was still difficult and of course games get easier the better and more you play it. But sekiro is basically letting you fight genichiro 3 times and the end boss was realy easy. The only boss i got wrecked at was the demon.
In my opinion, DS3 and Elden ring has the most difficult bosses and difficult areas... my From Software journey also started with Elden ring , then DS3 then flew through Bloodborne without struggling with any bosses, max 9-10 attempts for the worst. Took days on Sister Friede, Nameless King, Melania, Elden Beast, all epic boss battle.
Yeh I think the order of which you play the games drastically changes the experience, my first souls game was sekiro and I definitely got stumped by some of the bosses, I then played bloodborne and didn't take more than 4 attempts on any boss. If I played them in a different order it could have been exactly the opposite
elden ring and bloodborne for me are s tier, and ds3 if A tier but my favorite boss is gael there was one time where i intentionally died 3 times just to fight him cause i enjoyed the fight so much. Keep it up OP love the videos!!!!
Covenient timing because I'm about to platinum Dark Souls 3 finally, after years giving up on it. I spent days farming for the covenant items and to say it was a chore to do such thing is an understatment. I recently collected all the gestures, all the miracles, all the pyromancies and all the sorceries. The only thing left to do is to collect the final ring, which I unfortunately missed because I didn't do the Sirris questline. Good thing is that I all I have to do is going into NG+2 and only have to deal with 3 bosses (Watchdog, Abyss Watchers and Lord Wolnir) to reach my final goal.
To me, Elden Ring is Fromsoft's Magnum Opus. Pretty much everything about that game is just incredible. It is a close call though considering how good the other games are as well.
@@tesselesk8i know wht you mean but i think, the bosses who does matter are really the best of the series (difficult to compare to bllodborne and sekiro because different settings) at least the dungeons are different enough for me to mostly recognize them, necause each one hold a different challenge, even if the boss in there is not so unique. But yes, design-wise its more or less the same. I hope in dlc they will change this issue (i expect at least half the map size of base game)
I think Dark Souls III has better bosses and Dark Souls II has the settings, way better build diversity and cooler weapons, stamina matters and also the title theme. I miss the first playthrough of them all. I want to go back. I WANNA GO BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@tesselesk8 I know this is a late reply, but I heavily disagree with this. ER has the most recycling out of any fromsoft game, I agree with that, but that's only because it is such a huge game. And I don't find most of the recycling bad considering the already huge amount of different bosses and enemies in the game. Also, I would argue that the optional dungeons and caves are similar to each other in visuals, but gameplay wise, while sharing similarities, have at least a decent amount of variety to them.
S tier: Bloodborne, Dark Souls A tier: Sekiro, Elden Ring, Dark Souls 2 B tier: Dark Souls 3 Didn't finish Demon's Souls cuz my PS3 died on me rip. DS2 is a good game crew checkin' in. Also, DS3 is the only platinum I don't have.
I like DS2, too. This was the first Souls game I played. I watched a Walkthrough to get into it. I tried DS1 several times before and after dying on the first enemies, I always quit it. When I got into DS2, it was so good and since then, I played and platinum'd every Soulsborne and Soulslike. I think DS2 got so much hate because of the release version. When we played it, it was probably the scholar of the first sin edition, where they changed many things. Especially the D2 DLC's were the best from software created.
@@ordinaryrussian1999 your opinion is valid, I’ve 100%’d it. I still believe it’s the worst of the trilogy IMO, in almost every aspect except customization n graphics. Game is bloated and directionless kinda. Ds 1 & 3 felt more streamlined.
@@frado9194 DS2 footage of the beta looked so dark and gritty and crisp but the game itself had an ambient lighting that made everything feel really washed out and it was so blurry and ugly on release. Some mods saved the textures but it was still released as far less than the fans were promised. Nobody points that out anymore somehow.
@@valhalla_1129 Probably because its still a straight up improvement technically speaking over even DSR (particularly on resolutions above 720p ). After 10 yrs of tech advancement, the downgrade between the pre-release/release footage aen't really as perceptible as consoles from 2006 are not current gen. Also amount of ppl around back then is probably a fraction of what it is now after bb, ER etc. Idk how to phrase this less passive aggressive but just in case u were actually confused
@@optimistichuman I don't actually hate DS3, I just became really burnt out after the platinum While ds1 was my least favourite souls game at the time, doing the platinum completely changed my view, the platinum made me experience everything the game had to offer. by far has my favorite NPC questlines, I enjoyed every ending and for some reason I had a lot of fun getting every infusion and boss weapon, mainly because I never got any before. I also got very lucky with rng, no grind took longer than an hour. Overall the trophy felt like a good balance of challenge and exploration. which is why I'm hyped for Lords of the fallens plat that requires every weapon, armour, spell, etc with 60+ trophies
@@deogracias9869I double platinumed DS3 and enjoyed every second. Its just a very good game. Grinding isnt too bad. I am used to grind like in Destiny 2 where I grinded 100 hours for one weapon so farming 20 hours for 30 Proof of concords isnt too bad
@@RostockerBursch it personally took me weeks to fully grind all the concords, blade grass and vertebrae. I don't dislike the game, it just burnt me out completely

My first souls game was the original Demon Souls. I was addicted to it, or so I thought… then Dark Souls 1 happened and I no longer had a life outside of Lordran. I’m still a massive souls fan today. I like videos like this where you see new players getting into the souls experience. We’ve all experienced the struggle at some point. Welcome to our world.
I just need to say I pre ordered demons souls. I loved it. I didnt even understand that i had I frames when rolling. It was a wholly unique gaming experience. That being said I understand your take. Its definitely not the best its the 1st. If it was the best that would be sad. It will always hold a nostalgic place in my old heart though.
Yes I'm replying to my own comment. Just have to say I platinumed og demon souls. Literally spent 8 hours grinding for that pure sharp stone. You got off easy with the remake. 😊
Crazy how each person's difficulty in a souls game is unique. When you said BB had the most difficult bosses including Rom I thought I misheard you because I havent died to Rom in 4+ playthroughs. Yet unlike you I still struggle on ER bosses despite multiple playthroughs, something about those charged attacks they have makes me roll right into them everytime.
Well you can also choose difficulty in elden ring by using spirit ashes and summons. But considering it's a game mechanic you can say that elden ring is the easiest.
i know this is a completely different game but i just finished Assassins creed: Black flag!! and i only have one word for it: amazing. i didn’t platinum it because it’s on my switch but still, an absolutely amazing game. i also don’t think i’ve said this but you have a very soothing voice, even when your angry, ive binged most of your videos already!!
I hated DS2 when it came out (because it was so different from DS1 in terms of level design). But now after playing elden ring I came to love DS2..especially because I realized making so many unique enemies and levels takes a lot of creativity and effort
@@Ex-memegodita Makes sense, because ds3 felt like from was sucking its own dick to raise money and make other games. Shame they ignored a lot of the questions DS2 raised. Lore wise ds2 is my favorite of the trilogy

Hot take: ds2 dlcs are the best, they have the most content, some of the best ds2 bosses, add great lore and memes, etc. and dark souls 2 is the best souls game and has the potential to objectively outclass everyone other souls game with a remake Always good to have respect put on dark souls 2 name. It feels unique and cool. It’s a great adventure with a ton of bits that get overlooked by lots of people. Still holding out on a remake one day so more people can enjoy it better. Every take here is solid event though I’m not a fan of Bloodborne but still there’s sound reasoning to put it there from a certain pov. Can’t wait for the lords of the fallen vid when you’re done it.
I think as it stands now it is not the best souls game, but as you said, if they were to do a demons souls level remake on the game and fix the hitboxes and other janky stuff along with it than it would easily be the best souls game. That will never happen because the game is way to long but yeah
As a fellow bloodborne enthusiast I have to say that bloodbornes weak point is the bosses. Most of the main bosses aside from the DLC are either super easy or just not fun to fight. But that just goes to show how amazing this game is
Yeah I also dont get how they find it that difficult. I plated ER, DS3 and BB and bb took me 28 hours first blind playtrough with all bosses, and the most annoyng one was paarl because of the camera
Yeah, I was kinda disappointed with the bosses in the game being so easy for the most part lol. My heart sank when someone told me one of the hardest bosses in the game for them was Ebrietas, but I nearly first tried her.
I honestly agree. It's moreso a weird dynamic where the bosses are either incredible or just very lack luster. Had some of my least favorite bosses in souls aka Rom and Micolash
Here someone new on souls like games, started with the master piece Bloodborne and going to platinum it, man love this game and the music the game play
I really enjoyed your video and someday hope to platinum a From Software game myself. I wish the games had a photo mode, but oh well. (Although Demon Souls does) My friend who is better at games than me spent 360 hours in Elden Ring. (no platinum, just finishing) But I've got both the Future Press guides. The guides are a masterpiece themselves and are an added joy to use. Anyhow subscribed. Happy gaming!
Congrats! you should try and platinum eldest souls its a souls like/bossrush game so basically dark souls and cuphead mixed into one the platinum percent is 0.1% and it would leave you in tears
Bruh I thought I'd never find someone thinking the complete opposite way than I do. To me, Dark Souls 1, 3 and Demon's Souls are by far the greatest games out of all SoulsBorne games. I played all of them and those are the best to me. And no, I'm not talking about PS5 Demon's Souls Remake since I don't have a PS5. I am talking about OG experience PS3 DeS
Yo it’s an older game but I would love to see you make a video about Nier automata. It is the only game I’ve played that comes close to soulsborne and in some ways even outshines them. Great video thank you
This tier list is so incredibly in line with how I placed the games when my friends would ask me which ones I thought were the best. The only difference for me was that DS1 and Demon’s Souls are the same level for me. DS1 doesn’t have any fast traveling in the first half and when you do get it, it’s very limited. That bothered me more than you know. Also I have yet to play Sekiro.
@@BuTTerJaFFaS yeah but they should've added a better way to go back to firelink from blighttown like maybe near the bonfire after the shortcut from new londo to bligttown. it's quite annoying to get back up.
My favorite souls game will always be sekiro. The combat it's the best i've ever tried in ANY game and it is the only souls game where i like to re-fight bosses just because of the combat and mechanics. if Sekiro has a weak point its definitively is how short it feels after you beat it (if anyone even reads this. Yes the bosses are extremely hard its just that optimistichuman is built diferent)
Ds3 was my first intro into the soulsbourne community back when it came out. Was literally obsessed with the game got to ng+6. Then took a break for awhile. Ended up buying sekiro, bloodbourne, elden goat!! and demon slayers. Sekiro to me is just pain but such a good game I don’t even hate 😭😭
FYI 'Legendary Armaments' in Eldenring is the only truly missable achievement, due to the bolt of Gransax being unobtainable after you burn down the capital.
This is my personal list (not ranked based off the quality of the games, just based on which I enjoy the most): 1. DS3 2. Bloodborne 3. Ds2 4. Ds1 5. Elden Ring 6. Sekiro 7. Demons Souls I know this list is not agreeable with most people who started with elden as their first but honestly it doesn’t matter to me. I feel like anyones first fromsoft game holds an extra special place in their heart and for me it was dark souls 3.
I found it easier to simply start new characters for Bloodborne and Elden Ring to get the various endings. Made it easier for me to try new play styles. Ds2 was the only one that I got high into new game plus because of the covenant spells for sale.
I started with DS2, then Bloodborne, the DS3, then Sekiro and then Elden Ring. Because of that, I'd definitely put Elden Ring in S tier. You can see all the little improvements over time combined with the different experiments they tried with Bloodborne and Sekiro all come together to make a truly incredible game... And now today, they've announced what looks like an absolutely insane DLC to add to it. Other than Elden Ring, I'd pretty much agree with your tier list although I haven't played Demon Souls as the original is too date and the other version isn't on PC.
I’ve played and platinumed them all except the actual Dark Souls trilogy. Going to push through DS2 first. Every time I do a little research people always claim it’s the hardest souls game, it’s completely subjective and depends on how well you can adapt to overcome obstacles.
@@alduinfr I was just commenting on how it's annoying that the bosses add enemies to their fights in NG+ cycles. I didn't say anything about it being difficult. It's definitely in the lower end of difficulty for the series.
@@sixchief771 My tip is start with samurai class and use uchigatana unsheathe heavy variant it staggers him very easily and it also builds up bleed easily
As a guy who platinumed sekiro first and bloodborne second those both games were my favourite I love bloodbornes side stepping and sekiros parrying hopefully when Miyazaki creates a new game where they have that I’m down to get it immediately
I just platinumed Dark Souls 2 for the second time, just had to finish off the NG++ spells. Now I'm thinking of finishing Dark Souls 3 which I guess I have just the NG++ rings left as far as I can tell. Was considering Dark Souls 1 remastered but I have all of the hard things left in that game and basically need to go a full fresh character to NG++ anyway so that's a lot of work. Elden Ring I have the alternative endings left and thats it so I'll wait for the DLC so I have a reason to play again. Dark Souls 2 was actually an enjoyable time, I felt really powerful by the end and had transformed my build into this unlimited buff, powerhouse with unlimited heals and an option for every situation. Iron King Crown ftw, literally unlimited spells if you extend the duration enough. Sunlight Blade can last long enough to recharge before you need to buff again for example and none of the boss fights are difficult in NG++, just the occasional random enemy in the gutter that can two shot you lol. Think I will try and relearn Dark Souls 1, honestly don't like the look of Dark Souls 3 menu's and UI so I'm turned off playing it just for the rings considering it requires a full NG++ playthrough and my only character is a boring quality build at 125 so I feel weak.
Dark souls 2 and Bloodborne still give me nightmares, Elden Ring, Demons souls, DS1/3 and Sekiro where easy imo Working on doing Lords of the fallen platinum rn
I could write a huge nerd text here, as I have in many other videos, reddit posts and streams, about why I consider Dark Souls 2's bad reputation is undeserved based on players' experiences with the earlier Dark Souls 1, and why this game is my favourite game EVER. But I have a feeling you already understand it all, and you are just one of the giga chads who really enjoyed the game. And man, who can not love that cat in Majula ?
Played everyone of them and I have loved them all. However, elden ring due to it's open world and design was the only game as an adult that made me feel like a kid again. But at the same token, DS3 is the one I cherish the most. I bought it when I lost my job and I needed something to help me through those hard times. It was also my first soulsbourne game as well. Without it, I would have never experienced such amazing games.
Beautiful list. Tho i have to say. I absolutely agree with sekiro and bloodborne. Bb is my favourite game of all time tbh. But i had to say you really should try fighting laurence and father owl. Laurence i completely get specially after fighting him ng+3 and up with a lvl 120 character. But father owl especially inner father is the reason sekiro is still installed for me. Just coming on to clash and fight him is so fucking fun
Great video. I eventually platinumed Elden ring and you do miss a legendary item out of the 25 you mentioned. It’s the Bolt of Gransax in the capital. Once you go so far in the story you can’t get it when you go back to capital as it’s changed. I had to get it on my second playthrough
DeS remake is just awesome! It doesn’t need to be hard because it’s still ridiculously fun and amazing to look at! It’s easily better than DS2 and 8/10. World tendency is trash so I agree with you there from someone who platinum it too lol.
Your memory of the early Souls games is going to depend on when you started playing them. For me it started in 2009 with Demon's Souls. The game was not out yet in NA/EU but the good thing about the PS3 was that it had no region locked games. Sombody than tipped me that you could get the HK version of the game because it it had more english in it and was very playable. So I got that game and was instantly hooked. The same thing with Dark Souls 1 in 2011. Yes they feel clunky now, but at the time there was no competion in terms of games giving the player an actual challenge and it looked great for the time. Looking this up made me realise that it has been 13 years since the realese of DS1. The 2018 remaster was still the same game as 2011 but now at 60fps and 4k options for consoles.
I think DS3 is the most polished and best game overall in the series, but I love Elden Ring and DS1 more because their worlds immersed me like nothing else. The sense of wonder and discovery in those games was fantastic and something just felt magical about them. I’m more likely to revisit DS3 but my first playthroughs of ER and DS1 are some of the best times I’ve ever had playing a game. I still need to play Sekiro, but I’ve heard nothing but fantastic things about that game, so I expect it to be at least on the same level as DS3 for me.
I've Platinumed all the SoulsBornes too and I very much agree with you having BloodBorne and DS3 as S tier, they are perfect games. Personally I would put Elden Ring down to C tier at best. The great big open world where you can just run by everything is pure Ubisoft for me. I would have Demon Souls as B tier too - I actually thought it was a great game (except for the World Tendency Platinum Vertebrae Shackle nonsense).
@@mqtcn Yeah maybe a little over the top - I did really enjoy Elden Ring.😁 Still, I thought it was so much at it's best in the legacy dungeons where you have to work forward and pick off all the enemies while trying to make it to the next Grace. Charging around the open areas on a horse having slightly janky horse-combat just didn't have that tension and precision for me that I love in these games. Just my personal opinion, and given the huge success and much wider appeal ER has had than any of it's predecessors I'm clearly in the minority.
@@oortcloud210 i think it s more a personal taste.my fav was elden ring, many people don t like open world games because they are too big, expansive and takes a lot of time to explore, even througn i personally enjoyed this part of the game,i think elden ring would have been even better as a dark soul type game
ER S rank? Don't think so..A at most. Bloated open world, repeated enemy design, repeated and uninspiring dungeon design, literally no new enemies toward the end of the game. I will put ER on S rank on overrated category though.
Demon‘s Souls 2009 the original on NG+ was my most favourite one I played all the soulsborne games including Elden Ring now I finished blasphemous and blasphemous 2 amazing 2D metroidvania style !
It's always interesting which From games and bosses people find more difficult than others. Sekiro was the hardest for me (except Malenia) by far, while Bloodborne was the easiest, particularly the bosses.
Boy am I glad you didn’t make the horrible mistake of starting with DS3 after Elden Ring. You would’ve missed out on one of the greatest endings in gaming
Demon’s PS3 Bladestone farming, which is only 1 drop to get the trophy, is at the same tier as Concords in DS3, which was 30. What I’m saying is that Demon’s PS3 is the ultimate proof of Trophy Masochism.
@@Aelu351 Remake Pure Bladestone was FREE, got it even from a regular black Skeleton instead of a Red one. And while you do need it for an HP ring, Deluxe edition players can even skip the farming on the Remake.
I literally love how different everyone's experiences with fromsoftware's games are, like, my first one was ds3, and was by far the hardest to me, I think I died more to gael and midir than to all bosses from every other games combined, while bloodborne was so easy and I had the same experience that u had with gael, but for me was orphan of kos, everyone saying he was the hardest, and was top tier difficulty till these days, but I first tried him all my 4 playthroughs, tbh, asside from ds3 all the other games were really easy, like I think the second game I died the most was sekiro, and I died like, 20 times to isshin, which is alot, but nothing compared to what ds3 made to me
I do agree with Demon's Souls being hard to platinum. While the PS3 never had the additional trophies on the PS5 remake, the rings, unique weapons, and some of the upgrade trophies are tedious. Especially since some are easy to miss. And with the online feature been defunct and making World Tendency a nightmare if you do NG+.
I've platinumed every game in the series other than sekiro (multiple times for the games that had mutiple versions) and out of the three dark souls games, 2 is absolutely my favorite by far. And elden ring is an absolute Masterpiece, its quickly become my favorite game of all time.

DS3 dated graphics with Terrible draw distance, Bloodborne must be the same since same engine.
@@20puskinas1992Bloodborne can get away with it, since most of the game is surrounded by buildings
just please dont make bloodborne look like demons souls remake
Wow that is a hot take
@@shortsamurai1213what is a hot take?
DS2 was my third Souls game (played DeS and DS1 before it), but it still remains my favourite in the whole series.
It's like a dream world, but not as realistic as the cursed and gloomy world of Yharnam, Lordran, Lothric could be, and not as historical as Sekiro.
exactly
Yes 100% I've enjoyed it's so much, ds2 is my lowest I won't touch it again.
Failden Ring
bloodborne the only souls game I have platinum and my favourite one. I fell in love with its aggressive fighting mechanic where you just dive into enemies attacks on an instict and tear monsters minsters apart like a savage
And sometimes you go, like Fuck blood vail you are my blood vail i am tearing you apart
That's crazy! Demon's Souls is easily one of my favorites. I will agree that NG+ on this game is easily the hardest NG+ of the entire series. Flamelurker becomes pretty brutally hard on NG+.
yeah I had to cheese him lol
Sekiro??
@@anon2427 apart from the combact sekiro wasn t nearly as good in lore, story, hub, enemies and graphics
Demons souls is bs the bosses are stupid the world tendency is stupid and good luck getting the platinum cause it’s not fun

Dark souls 2 is better than Dark souls 1 and i'm tired of pretending that it's not tbh.
The creativity, uniqueness, variety and level design is just phenomenal, especially in the DLC.
welcome to the club!

Even tho it's not my favorite part of the series, you can't deny that DS2 also had the best fashion options of the serie (imo).
@@fishclaw901something not adding up like why he found sekiro “easy” but struggled with DS NG+
Nameless king and the twins kicked my ass for days.
Fr bloodborne boses are so easy. Even the feared Orphan of Kos was pure disappointment gor me. Died after 5 tries lol.
Nah this guy deserves a subscribe bro
With the exception of swapping ds1 and 2 spots actually ds2 gose with demon souls
elden ring and bloodborne for me are s tier, and ds3 if A tier but my favorite boss is gael there was one time where i intentionally died 3 times just to fight him cause i enjoyed the fight so much. Keep it up OP love the videos!!!!
thank you azam!!
Good thing is that I all I have to do is going into NG+2 and only have to deal with 3 bosses (Watchdog, Abyss Watchers and Lord Wolnir) to reach my final goal.
long may the sun shine ashen one!! o7
@@optimistichuman I spoke too soon. I also have to collect PLUS rings.
To me, Elden Ring is Fromsoft's Magnum Opus. Pretty much everything about that game is just incredible. It is a close call though considering how good the other games are as well.
I thing the overwelming number of generic dungeons and bosses make the others souls better
@@tesselesk8 But they are optional, so why complain?

Dude the dlc is so dogshit 🤣 but to each their own
Ds2 became "hated" after ds3 release. We all played it at release and noone was complaying
Tempo of the combat is different which could explain why you struggle on one game and excel in the other
@@andrejmilakovic9088 ER solo has by far the hardest bosses imo. Goddfrey, Maliketh and Melania all proper savage!

Hot take: ds2 dlcs are the best, they have the most content, some of the best ds2 bosses, add great lore and memes, etc. and dark souls 2 is the best souls game and has the potential to objectively outclass everyone other souls game with a remake
Always good to have respect put on dark souls 2 name.
I tottally Agre on that, sadly I thing a remake would never come to life, but it would be increrible
This, the guy in the video said they are the most difficult which is a hard cap. Elden ring and DS3 easily have the best boss line up.
What’s the correlation with bad bosses and how amazing it is?
I honestly agree. It's moreso a weird dynamic where the bosses are either incredible or just very lack luster. Had some of my least favorite bosses in souls aka Rom and Micolash
Here someone new on souls like games, started with the master piece Bloodborne and going to platinum it, man love this game and the music the game play

Ds2 was my favourite adventure of 'em all. It was damn cozy fantasy stuff. Such an awesome game.

1. DS3
2. Bloodborne
3. Ds2
4. Ds1
5. Elden Ring
6. Sekiro
7. Demons Souls
I know this list is not agreeable with most people who started with elden as their first but honestly it doesn’t matter to me. I feel like anyones first fromsoft game holds an extra special place in their heart and for me it was dark souls 3.
DS2 FANS ON TOP 😂❤
YESSIRRRRRRR
I found it easier to simply start new characters for Bloodborne and Elden Ring to get the various endings. Made it easier for me to try new play styles. Ds2 was the only one that I got high into new game plus because of the covenant spells for sale.
This video was gold! Watching you beat the bosses is so relatable 😂

The NG+ versions of bosses have adds which makes them more annoying. However DS2 is a ton of fun and has a lot of great stuff.

Dark souls 2 and Bloodborne still give me nightmares, Elden Ring, Demons souls, DS1/3 and Sekiro where easy imo
Working on doing Lords of the fallen platinum rn
currently playing lords of the fallen, very fun different game
BB > DS1 > Sekiro > ER > DS2 > DS3 > DeS. I may be a little blinded by nostalgia when it comes to DS1 :)
World tendency is trash so I agree with you there from someone who platinum it too lol.
good game but not better than the goat ds2
Saying pure Ubisoft is insane when talking about Elden Ring
I’ve plat these games too, and I agree with the rankings…I just add ER to S.
Did you compare to the remake version? Is it that much harder? I dont remeber, was some time when i played it
@@Aelu351 Remake Pure Bladestone was FREE, got it even from a regular black Skeleton instead of a Red one.
Sekiro was sooo eazyy! Didn't beat while asleep tooo!?? Omg king of hot takes
was that even english
I've platinumed every game in the series other than sekiro (multiple times for the games that had mutiple versions) and out of the three dark souls games, 2 is absolutely my favorite by far. And elden ring is an absolute Masterpiece, its quickly become my favorite game of all time.
I wanted to take Dark Souls Trilogy as my first Souls Like, do you recommend it so I don't have too difficult an experience at the beginning?
I recommend elden ring first
Bro this video is fire wtf?! You got a new sub bro
Thank you!!
Ranking ds2 higher than ds1 is criminal. Besides that the whole list is agreeable
nah
The Boss run for Blue Smelter Demon in DS 2 Old Iron King DLC is the worst in the entire game
Thats what I thought 2 days ago until I did Frigid Outskirts today….
