These two were in Jefferson Airplane & on their own they have been together since the late 60s I guess it's better late than never, Now go listen to them as Hot Tuna but their electric side. Like a well-oiled machine that never stops working & will never leave you wanting anything but more!!
A friend of mine living here in Japan gave me a cassette tape titled Hot Tuna 30 years ago. He's from US and shared me lots of band I'd never heard of.Thanks, Steve.
Jorma and Jack. From “Phosphorescent Rat”. Bought most of their lp’s when they came out, this one on cut out. Nearly all their albums ended up in the cut out bins, so they were a great purchase for a couple of bucks. First album is excellent, so is Burgers
They didn't do that during this performance but there's several great clips on YT. It would have been great to hear them do that great tune here but if they did it never seemed to get on air.
The electric version of this tune the on the Phosphorescent Rat album is really good. During the instrumental breakdown it seems like Casady's bass might split the earth's crust. Love me some H F'in T!
Hi The Midnigjt Special, Please post the Eric Burdon Band performance separately. The complete program/show was recently put together with Barry White. Thank you very much
Hey, Bob Dylan called. He wants his DNA back. (I stole that joke from David Spade. I think he used it on a guy who looked like Johnny Depp maybe. But you have to admit this guy sounds a bit like Dylan. Pretty good guitarist though.)
I saw them last night. They’ve still got it! Incredible show.
Saw them Decemeber 6th 2024! They're still playing phenomenally!
Fricken very good. Thanks
Nice music. Never heard this before.

When he started singing I recognized his voice.
Greetings from Halifax Canada. Exactly the same for me. Their first one I got for 1: 97! Mosy all the rest of them for a couple of bucks more.
Yea the record stores loss our gain !!
Burgers is still one of my favorite albums, maybe even top ten.
Bravo ! Ce jeu et ce son de basse qui ronronne sont une pure merveille ! Jorma Kaukonen et Jack Casady forment une magnifique paire de musiciens.
One of my fave Hot Tuna songs- always makes my mix compilations. Never seen/ heard this performance before 👍🤘🎸
JC is incredible
La voce di Jorma ha qualcosa di magico. 🫠
Elle est reconnaissable entre toutes.
Oh man!! Please do Watersong ❤❤

@@paullevine1813 I'll do it for you if Jorma won't, lol. Maybe I can get Jack to stop by. :)

一昔前のミュージシャンは
ギターの一音一音丁寧に演奏してたのが良く分かる。
今現在は良くも悪くも機材で
ごまかしてる様な気がするのは考え過ぎかな?

Prefer the HEAVY Hot Tuna. But nice.
