My opinions & thoughts on anything I feature in my videos are always my own.
Some things that actually helped to control my hair fall include: (1) I discontinued wearing ponytails because it leds to tension damage. (2) I began massaging my hair and scalp twice a week with liitleextra cocoonnion hair oil while bending over & holding my head upside down to allow blood flow to the scalp. (3) Covering my head while moving out to shield my hair from pollution. (4) Using soft shampoo again from liittleextra only to cleanse my hair.

I've been using my shower filter for 1 week and immediately noticed my eczema is gone, body Acne way down and hair is shinier. I'm on day 7 post wash (type 3b/3c high porosity) and my hair still looks fresh as day 1. Before changing filters, I would have to wash and flat iron my hair every 4-5 days. I see WAYYYY less breakage too. Also stopped using sink water to wash my face and only use the filtered shower water. When I say my face is glowing I am serious. Red blotches and irritation are gone. This filter is the TRUTH.

Yes "hard water" has magnesium and calcium deposits. This will mess up the ph balance of your hair. Use a good filter or you can do a final rinse with bottled water after you wash your hair in the shower. Hope this helps.

I have a pretty consistent hair regiment which includes low maintenance hairstyles and deep conditioning with heat, yet my hair was still breaking. I've installed a filter today after showering and washing deep conditioner out of my hair, I can feel the difference with my hair and skin!!! Its only been a day but I am very excited as my hair has been at armpit length for months now hopefully i'll have less breakage and shedding now ☺️

Chemicals... don't overlook the power of perfumes and fragranced products as those too people think are "safe" products also contribute to the problem. Chemical Sensititivty is an actual problem. Good on you for noticing. There is a medical term for it called Multipl e Chemical Sensitivity.

Bc that hard water was damaging my skin and I’m sure that’s the reason why my edges wasn’t getting right not being funny but that carbon filter have my skin feels so amazing and my hair much healthier with my lock journey. I was always suspicious of this water thing meaning I have long suspected that if our water is no longer even safe for us to drink then why is it safe for us to bathe in because your skin absorbs liquids in 26 seconds
I know right!! Mad I never thought of it like that!!! Overtime I have come in contact with water that smells like straight rust/copper/who knows what else....I can only imagine what its is doing to our bodies. smhhhh!!!

Your skin absorbs chemicals cuz u take a hot steamy shower thats how your pores open up but if u just take a cool shower that wont happen

Fabulous video. Thank you for sharing. People really undervalue the quality of the main things we as human beings require. Number One is the quality of the air we breathe which again many overlook. They spray themselves down with harmful perfume and fragrances (SIDENOTE: documentary on Netflix called STINK talks all about that) The criticalness of air quality is number one, we can not go without air for 3 minutes from what I understand. Water comes in at number two: can't not go three days without water... that is how vital these things are so I am grateful you made this video so people can get their heads out of their asses. The skin is the largest organ we have and we are putting so many toxic ingredients on it and wondering why we are sick. Anywho thank you.
I just bought and installed one because my ends were trashhh and my stylist mentioned that I should stop putting so much water in my hair because it was messing up the pH balance of my hair so I thought to myself maybe it’s not water itself but maybe it’s the unfiltered water. Only washed my hair once so far with the filter and I can already tell a difference!!!

I came to learn about hard and soft water after I realized my skin was sticky and carrying residue after every shower... I got clean enough after like 3 rinses! One day it was driving me so crazy and I used like 3 different exfoliators at once. My skin got so damaged, after researching on it, realized it wasn’t my ability to mani train my hygiene but a problem with the water! 😭👎👎
I got one on Amazon noticed a big difference feel’s just like being in a fancy hotel shower!

Great advice! Where I live it is a MUST to have a water softener installed.... AND maintenance! Expensive but a necessity! Plus we changed all of our showerheads also. Great to get out there for those who aren't aware. Also I use lukewarm water to wash and then cool water to rinse and seek my hair cuticles. I do this for hair and body! 👍

I think every 3 months sounds about normal according to some of the other brands and their reviews. This brand is prob trying to sell a pipe dream with saying every 6 months lol (a lot of the reviews said about 3 months for this one as well)!

I asked my mom about getting a shower filter and she didn’t feel like having one on the shower which is very odd and there’s no reason not to get one. It’s just a shower. It’s not even worth convincing her anymore. 🙄
Today I am on day one and this is the best gift. Anybody can have my body feels so amazing. The water come out so clean it is so fresh my hair feels so good I recommend the carbon filter to everybody.

We recently moved to a new home & ive been breaking out on my back mainly my shoulders because that’s where I let it hit the most but now I’m gonna purchase this filter & pray it works! Thank you so much! Also my dad told me the place I live has more chlorine than my last so that was kind of scary.

You will notice the difference of the water so if you have eczema dry skin, dark spots any kind of skin problems please get it and if your hair is falling out or anything it is because of the hard water
Do yourself a favor go out and get you one and experience it for yourself And you would thank God that you did

i don’t think a pH of 6 is.. great. 7 is typically the neutral mark meaning it’s not too alkaline or acidic. having a pH of 6 means it’s still a little acidic. but i may be wrong/confused

7 is neutral. Anything higher is alkaline
Onyinyechukwu Mazi I’m late but you’re right...the ph scale ranges from 0-14, with levels less than 7 considered acidic, levels greater than 7 considered alkaline, and a ph of 7 considered neutral.
Finally a real review on shower filters. Where can I find this one? They don't have it in their website.

I promise you you won’t have any problems with your skin anymore. You don’t have to worry about buying all those products because it’s all about money and ain’t no telling what they are putting in those products. Go get you a carbon filter in your shower and watch how your skin is going to clear up it would be a gift from God

I always wondered the same thing about the water and your overall health that's why I had my house water tested and decided to get the water softener tank which is amazing by the way. The day they tested my water to see the impurities that was in the water yuck so glad I took the time to make an investment for my house and if you are interested and the water softener reply and I will give you my dude name for the machine it's all over the world even in the White House.

Thx for this informative video. I live in nwestern Illinois and I know there’s nothing but hard water here. Will definitely purchase the strips and shower head because no matter how I’ve been up on keeping my hair moisturized my hair still remains dry especially my ends, which feels like HEY on top of it being high porosity which worsens the situation. Have you noticed since using the filter a change with your hair??????

I think alot of people problem with breakage is their water. I'm going buy one when I get paid. First I'm going start rinsing my hair with bottle water.

I ordered a aqua filter brand from amazon. I'm just skeptical on how long these things will last with the amount of water that are passing through the filter. But I may aswell give it a try.

That thing called hard water sucks. It leaves my hair so dry and break. No matter what product or expensive it is it won't work as far as hard still touches the hair.

I know right! I wasn't totally surprised bc there are quite a few power plants in the area. I don't know if that has anything to do with it but we've always been told all of our lives to never ever drink the water bc of them.

I just replaced an ugly old shower head with a larger head that is on a long hose which makes the shower head removable and so rinsing the shower walls is easier after cleaning. Can I use this filter with it? I don’t want to revert to a static shower head, especially as the shower is quite low in the wall and my new shower head raises the height. Thank you.

Makayla Johnson I’m using the Sprite 7 filter because I moved here to Vegas 2 yrs ago didn’t really know how the Water was since the main strip hotels are great. Then I went out with my hubby one day and I washed and blow dried my hair it was flawless! Then omg a few days later I just rubbed my head and the hair was dry and literally coming off sheading like a animal yet I’m natural so I just thought maybe I am in the shedding phase, hell no! By the end of the month I had broken short patches in my hair... so I went and got that now it’s been a month and a half but I got braids so when I do my next wash out hopefully I see some results but it is working.

How often do i have to change the filter?
The thing is most shower filters DO NOT filter out Chloramine. This doesn’t work. Read the reviews. It’s good to test you water to as if they filters actually do what they say. Most of them don’t, sadly.
So what do u suggest when washing ur hair ?

Does filter water get rid of white hair?
It's hard water that turn your hair white, so by using water filter or water softner regularly, the colour of your hair will comes back to dark. I'm suffering from this as well.
My blonde hair said green and yellow :(
