Recipe:
4 bananas, mashed
1 egg
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
4 tablespoons sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted

I used stevia and added a squeeze of lemon juice to enhance the vanilla extract. This was AWESOME. The natural sweetness of the bananas is so light and savory. I think I will add pumpkin seeds next time.
This Is the best healthy banana bread I’ve ever made!!!! And I even used half the amount of (coconut) sugar and it was still delicious and sweet 🎉

3 years late but an amazing recipe!
i 1/2 the all purpose flour with whole wheat, used only 2 tbsp of monk fruit sweetener than added walnuts on top!
i cooked in individual muffin tins & used melted coconut oil to grease the tin with. took way less time to cook but i don't remember how long lol. thanks for the great recipe!!

Great recipe! I substituted the all-purpose flour for almond flour and added another level of healthiness to the recipe.
Great recipe! I'm trying it now, using 2 T honey instead of the sugar, and part whole wheat flour for some of the AP. By my calculations, if I cut the loaf into twelve equal pieces, each one will have about 120 calories. I like this recipe because it doesn't call for applesauce or yogurt, two odd ingredients I don't always have on hand. We shall see how it turns out! Thanks!

I just came across yr video and made it this AM. I only used 2 tbsp sugar(may be next time omit all sugar since there's 4 riped bananas). I replaced the other 1/2 cup flour with wholewheat flour. Cooked 50mins as 40 isn't enough. Turned out well. Thanks for yr recipe😊

I just made this and I used a combination of oat flour and gluten free baking flour w/ 2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp monk fruit sugar, 1 tbsp chia seeds and coconut oil instead of butter. I used a muffin tins

Just wanted to let you know that the recipe in the description does not match what you did in the video. You said in the video 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda and baking powder, but the written recipe says 1 teaspoon of each. I followed the written recipe and the banana bread is a little bit bitter. I'm kinda bummed. 😔 Please fix it in the description.
I would substitute the sugar for honey and I would not use any flour. I would use oats, blend them up in the blender and use that as flour instead.

cool vid. I like to melt the butter and sugar together in to a fry pan on low heat before mixing in...saves having an egg beater
Fantastic! Made a double batch. Mixed in a handful of craisins at the end. Used cooking spray instead of butter in preparing loaf pans. Outcome was a hit. Flavor Perfect. Thank You

Beautiful lady and good recipe but I do have a question (no, I’m not trying to be mean ): what makes this recipe a “healthier version “? It has regular flour , sugar and butter . Just curious , I’ve made this about 4 times with several substitutions which means it’s not the same recipe anymore😁. I’ve used a mixture of coconut , oats and regular flour instead of all regular flour . Coconut oil instead of butter, honey instead of sugar and added pecans . My picky eater loves it .

My parents loved this. My moms been bugging me to make her a healthy banana bread. I just added brown cane sugar instead of white to give it more flavor and coconut oil instead of butter.

I like to use coconut oil to substitute the butter
The recipe in the description box states 1 tsp of both baking powder and baking soda but it was only 1/2 tsp in the video, and 1 tsp cinnamon is missing from the written recipe. Look forward to trying it, thanks 😀

Using monkfruit sweetener instead of sugar will mean a lot less calories!
I also prefer extra virgin, neutral olive oil for omega 3, a lot better for you than butter.

I think you can but the taste will be slightly different. As long as it's some kind of oil, it'll work. I always substitute butter for neutral oils, never had any problems so far

I never use the same amount of bananas.. wtv the size is, that’s what I use that day. Of course I am using regular size and not the really small or big ones. Hope that helps!
