FIRST LOOK at Flower & Garden, New Mystery Buildings, Lunar New Year, Test Track & MORE at EPCOT!

- Join me for a FIRST LOOK at EPCOT's Flower & Garden Festival 2024, as they are already setting up the park and so many of the gorgeous Disney character topiaries are already out, 2 weeks before the start of the Flower & Garden! I take you for a tour all around the park and the World Showcase to see how many EPCOT Flower & Garden topiaries we can spot for this early look, and we also explore lots of new things going on, new buildings popping up, new construction and more updates! Including a trip to Mission Space, the China Pavilion to see some beautiful Lunar New Year displays for the Year of the Dragon 2024 that just kicked off earlier this week! We also get a lucky ride on Test Track with no line, check out the continued huge February crowds, and get a general state of the theme park as we are moving closer to springtime! Thanks for hanging with me for a fun day at EPCOT in Disney World!

I am glad that some of the topiaries are showing up now. I love things related to Astronomy and am not sure how I would do on that ride but, if I ever did ride it I probably would go with green.

I loved Mission Space(Orange). It reminded me of the old DisneyQuest where you created your own coaster and got to ride it.
I remember seeing disney quest when I was a kid! I never knew what happened to it. Always wanted to ride that!!

Love your video of Epcot Jackie!! It’s a beautiful park. I love all the topiaries for Flower and garden festival!! They are all pretty. I really love the Snow white!! It’s so beautiful! Peter Pan and Bambi are cute!! There are so much detail in them, and they make them so pretty with all the flowers and grass!! When I was a kid and every time I watched Bambi I cried every time! It was so sad when Bambi’s mother died! I usually don’t get motion sickness when I go on rides! I don’t think I ever rode mission space!! The speed car ride you went on looked like so much fun. I love singer rider! I did that a few times when I was at Universal after going on the regular lines with family when I wanted to ride it again I just did single rider!! That’s the best way to go specially, that you don’t have to wait as long! So glad you had a great time. Looks like a beautiful day to be there!! 😊😊❤️❤️😊

Love flower & garden the park looks at its best. Loved riding Mission Space, rode it three times in a row, the orange version. Although I'm still feeling giddy 😅

So I have never ridden Mission space, what people have told me has scared me, so I have chosen not to ride. Not sure if I should believe what people are telling me, but it doesn’t sound like anything I want to experience. Epcot looks beautiful! Flower and garden festival is my birthday festival. Sadly, I don’t think I’m gonna make it to Disney this year… There’s just not enough PTO to go round for all my vacation. 😊
I can do both sides of Mission Space and find it quite enjoyable however I can also skip it easily too. I'll be there in 10 days and can't wait, I'll also be in EPCOT March 5.

Another great video! Thank you very much for sharing ❤. Because of the way the seats are on the Epcot version I’ve only been on the Disneyland mission space and hyper space. Just did a quick Google of the difference between the two locations and looks like they both have the same top speeds, drops, inclusions, etc. So I guess I like the orange more intense one. It does make my husband sick though.

Hi Jackie. Mission Space is a must do every time we go to Epcot . I do Orange where my non-roller coaster riding husband goes Green. Orange doesn't effect me at all and I'm nearly 52. Everybody's body is different. Ride what you enjoy. Keep up the great work. x
I love Mission Space, I only ride the more intense side, I do remember I rode it with my girls when they were 5 and 8. I sat between them as they flipped out. I had my arms in front of them. It was many years before I rode it again, I felt bad for the random man riding it with us. As I get older I do notice that I feel a little nauseous when it’s over. It doesn’t make me feel as bad as Guardians of the Galaxy. Still fun.
Regarding Mission Space… big no for me. We rode it when it first came out and my mom had a panic attack before the ride started, I had to bang on the door to get a kind cast member to let her off. I’ve since tried it again, the orange, and came off shaking. 😩 it’s a never again for me. If you’re claustrophobic or even a little uneasy in small enclosed spaces … this will really upset you. I miss Horizons! 😢😅

My birthday festival is the Festival of the Arts! My birthday is on January 29th. I love the performing arts since I am a musician myself and I love the Disney on Broadway series during that festival! I love supporting local artists, bands and other musicians and live music in general.

Mission Space orange is a ride I like to do most of the time when we go to Epcot. I will say, I feel it has been toned down since first opening. Might just be me. I am forever chasing the feeling on other rides, but to no avail. Love your videos, keep up the great work. Stay enthused.

And it is so much fun with other people who are really into it on your ride! I once rode The Forbidden Journey, and this 9ish-year-old girl was in my car, all dressed up in her Ravenclaw robes, and she kept yelling "Expecto Patronum!" to all the dementors! It was the cutest thing, I felt super safe with her warding off the dementors and had a blast!
Literally LOL'd when you scared yourself with a leaf. Totally something I'd do as well. 😅🤣😂
I even edited out most of the scare because it was embarrassing lol! A leaf brushed me and I thought it was a bug or something!

Mission Space is truly a "Love It or Leave It" attraction. I'm a fan of Orange whereas my wife is a "Hard Pass" on either. Also, we hope they do something with Wonders of Life... We feel that the lack of a true Festival Center is a big bummer for Food & Wine...

Man times flies. Last year was our first trip during Flower & Garden, loved it! This year we are trying out Festival of the Holidays for the first time- I think we will love that too! Thanks for video!

Jackie, I was just there at Epcot on this past Sunday. I wish I could be there for Flower and Garden but I can't be. But! We will be there again in September so we will get to be there for the Food and Wine Festival. Love me some food booths. I actually ate a good bit last Sunday from the food booths and videoed the foods and my reviews on them. The only thing I really didn't care for was the duck and dumplings at the American pavilion. Everything on the plate was good to me except the duck. Maybe it was just me. I have never had much duck in my lifetime so I probably wasn't into the taste. I mean it was ok, not terrible. Would I get it again? Probably not. Anyway, we will be there in September. Going to Epcot and Hollywood Studios. My son in law and his best friend are Star Wars fans and this will be the first time they will enter and see Star Wars Land. They are gonna freak out! LOL!

Mission Space is the worst ride I’ve ever been on and I needed the sickness bag the only time I went on it!! I take motion sickness tablets before going to the parks but Mission Space was another level 😅
Agree, it's one of my least favorite rides of all time and that's such a bummer because the theme and design around the ride is so cool!

So excited for Flower and Garden! My daughter and I are heading down in April for it. My birthday festival is Food and Wine since my birthday is in October but I love seeing all the topiaries at this one! I just saw the outdoor kitchen menus for 2024 and the booth by the butterfly garden may be The Honey Bee-Stro (I LOVE the name).

Hi, this was a great walk around vlog😊 I love seeing the Topiaries at Flower and Garden Festival. The 2 times we been to Disney World was during Flower and Garden and we loved taking pics with and of the Topiaries. The Creators of these master pieces do so amazing, Bravo 👏 to them😊 Regarding Mission Space, that is a definite no ride for me. I have claustrophobia and motion sickness issues, so no for me. I have to be picky with what rides I can ride😢 However, I can ride the dark rides like little Mermaid and Whinnie the Pooh and Dumbo and other rides like those, so I still love going to Disney World and ride rides😊 EPCOT becomes more welcoming during Flower and Garden Festival in my opinion 😊 Thanks for showing us around. My birthday festival is flower and garden!
I don’t get sick on Mission Space, but when I rode it this passed October it seemed very low tech/ outdated compared to other simulators that Disney has. It really needs an update or to be changed different ride in my opinion. On another note, my birthday festival is Food & Wine 😊
it's true, it's so outdated! EPCOT is supposed to be an educational park, so a cool, updated space ride that is still a bit thrilling but doesn't make people sick would be so great! Maybe one day.

My kis and I love Mission Space, but my wife gets sick even in the green one.
Only rode Mission Space (green) once. When the door closed and the console came down to what seemed to be an inch from my face, I had a hard time not panicking. I get dizzy too (Guardians made me queasy), but my main issue with MS was how I felt trapped.
Actually that astronaut mural with Mickey and everyone was the inspiration for the Japanese Disney/power rangers style megazord toy that Bandai Japan released two years ago. The official art actually has them in battle suits and it looks almost exactly like the Mickey space mural. The megazord is an anniversary thing that was a collaboration between Bandai and Disney. There aren’t that many out there because of its restrictive $400 price tag.
I do love orange team Mission Space, but it does leave me feeling a bit dizzy and disoriented afterwards

Mission Space is a NO. We tried it years and years ago...the green mission. I thought I was doing to lose it. Good thing I hadn't eaten yet! My whole family decided never again.😂
My birthday is in December. I have to say I agree that Flower and Garden festival is definitely a great look for EPCOT. I went just about every year through the 90's, while I was in college. EPCOT in February and Magic Kingdom in July and November. I found your channel looking at different povs from Megacon. Love your channel, definitely a new subscriber.

I'm so sorry, ny friend! I will always do my best to describe things and make it so that you can still listen and get the feel of what is going on. I try to my videos friendly for my vision impaired friends, and do things so that as many people as possible can enjoy and feel the vibes.
I was not made to be an astronaut. Makes me sick. At NASA I tried a simulator and I was sick for the rest of the day. I rode Mission Space with no G's with my kids. I was ok there. We took the barf bags and had Mickey sign them lol!

Mission Space was great when it opened almost 20 years ago. Like all simulator rides it has not aged so well.

Okay, I know Beauty and the Beast is a very popular movie, but is it necessary to have a single along in epcot? They already have beauty and the beast live on stage and the enchanted tales with bell they should make a beauty and the beast dark ride in epcot instead.
Hi Jackie, You know, all you have to do when you are feeling motion sickness in a simulator is close your eyes, right? I don't think it would work for a four-point roll in a dingy on the ocean but it works great in Star Tours. Love all you shows. Hope to run into all my favorite vlogers in just10 months.
Mission space not only makes most sick, the screens are horrible to look at. You are in a small room looking at a screen that makes you feel you need glasses because it’s blurry and don’t eat before you go on
I do the orange mission space and was terrible as soon as a finished I went to emergency area😢 was a really bad experience for me.

Mission Space… excellent ride that I cannot enjoy… it makes for a miserable rest of the day. EPCOT’s Flower and Garden festival is my favorite… second is Food and Wine👍
