I’m personally learning a lot from watching several of your videos.
Creating, editing, & posting these is a time consuming process and I certainly appreciate it.

so you drilled into the foundation/footer for the rebar, but not into the back wall? is it not attached to that by anything other than some concrete?

Hi David, I've been learning a lot from your videos. I am going to be adding on to my house and extending the block wall for a new garage. Would you suggest I knock out the corners instead of sawing blocks in half like you did here so I can marry them together instead of having the strait seam?

Did you drive your rebar into existing concrete? I’m extending a stem wall with cinder block to get it above grade and want to know if I should drive rebar into existing stem wall.

Thanks for the video David. You make it look so easy! I have a question if you don't mind. I have a 20x30 block wall garage that I want to make taller. It has a 10 foot ceiling. I would like to make it at least 14 feet tall but 16 feet would be better to add a second floor inside and a car lift in the center. Can you add 6 feet of block on top of an existing wall? Thanks man! - Nick

Can a low concrete wall (six blocks high) be tipped over and "rolled", to relocate it on a lot and repurpose it as a shed foundation?

I need a wall built in front of my pool equipment. I’m thinking the 6” blocks as it is only decorative and the face will be tiled. How far down would I need to drive rebar? I’m worried about any pool plumbing.

If a concrete contractor does absolute poor work on brick and block before pouring and i tell him to hit the road am i justified in trying to only pay him for usable materials that he used? By usable im not referring to the 14 block and 50 brick that was unlevel and had cracking and dry joints in areas. Edit: i dont feel labor is chargeable when the concrete is guaranteed to crack before its even poured because of poor installation of materials.

      the footing is.
Think of it as a cold joint, which is required every 30'

I concur, as an SE, this is an exterior wall exposed to horizontal pressures. It needs to be tied both vertically and horizontally. There is not tie into the existing masonry walls, only to the foundation. Even the vertical reinforcing is a bit off, the end cell at the existing building interface is unreinforced. The cells below the new glazing (at the sill) were solid grouted but not reinforced horizontally. Basically installing those anchors into unreinforced grout. End product looks fine, but this something that will have problems in 5-10 years.

You don't really explain how you did it or why you did anything, you were more showing what you did as opposed to showing us how to do something as the title would suggest

yeah i'm sorry i wish i could get better shots and get into more detail of how i do every little aspect of the job. Its just hard as i am on real jobs working for someone and on a schedule i will work harder in the future to better explain these jobs, and getting better shots of what you need to know when doing these type of jobs. If you have any suggestions please leave them in comments i would love to see what you have in mind, if you have anything. Thank you for your comment

Odell Complete Concrete well I want to thank you for responding, because I never really expect one, but in peticular, my Dad wants to add an RV Driveway and RV parking as well as extend his porch and extend his current cynder brick wall, so I wanted to know more about the set up process in peticular and how it could affect fhe final product, it would be great if you did a video on the thoery of making stuff like this and what kind of things you need to be careful of, like how you mentioned in your slanted cyinder block that you need to wait a few minutes for the cement to harden slightly so you dont get any on tje faces of the block because its hard to clean off. Little tips and tricks about the set up, process, and finishing steps would be great
