Rhett's camera work was very good. He held it steady and when he panned he kept the camera level and smooth. His commentary was a bit sparse, though. If Ridge and Rhett work together, with Ridge providing non-stop commentary and Rhett providing smooth, steady video, they will be an incredible camera team.
Loved watching a family work together! I spent most of my first 20 years on a Wyoming ranch. How I miss the ranching culture! 🎶When the Family Gets Together🎶 came to mind.😃
Rhett’s a Natural Camera Operator💕. My gosh, he did an excellent job. I was so impressed that while filming he was also listening and paying attention. You need to hire him to do it from now on when you both need someone to do the camera work! Fantastic job, Rhett❤️
Oh I like her hat WSR , we have hats with those initialsWSR ,and it ,for us, stands for Willow springs raceway, it’s in Rosamond California, thanks BigAl California
Rhett did an awesome job as cameraman, not one seasick eye in the house. I love my old p/u's but they do fail seemingly on a regular basis. Can't blame Ramsey for getting a bit irritated about the straps especially after the day he had
Rhett did a great job recording. Good job Reo on the rebuild of the Cummins. One of the problems in driving older vehicles is you need spare vehicles for the days things break down. I have a jeep that had a frontend noise that I had to 2 local shops techs that usually are pretty good, two jeep dealerships and still no one fixed it, took it for a longer drive than I wanted to a 3rd jeep dealership that fixed it and had me out of there in a little over an hour. Local techs do not want to work on anything that they need to figure out. Hope you all stay safe and healthy.
Give Rhett big thumbs up and looks like Santa needs to bring you a badlands winch and yes sir if it's on utube same as old television 📺 HAS TO BE TRUE all of you did good today 👏 ❤
Ironic that you had all this truck trouble and shortly after Rio wins another truck. The winds of change are always working. I also commend you on your positive attitude in the midst of multiple disasters.
If you😢need to😮know , the transmission, takes automatic transmission fluid in the gear box, I put a quart of Lucas so if it had any other than ATF in it along with maintenance of keeping the bolts tight lol ,thanks BigAl merry Christmas , praise Jesus Christ grace amen
Sorry to see that your truck is down for a while, but I'm glad that you have another truck to take its place. This shows why you always keep you old truck and tools as backups, even when you get a new one to replace the old. Because you just never know - you might need it again. My grandfather farmed only with work horses. My father used a tractor, but kept my grandfather's old, obsolete horse-drawn rakes and wagon - Just in case. When the baler broke one time, we welded a draw bar onto my grandfather's horse-drawn drop rake, pulled it with the tractor to gather the hay into piles, loaded it onto the wagon with pitchforks, and got the hay into the barn before it rained. You gotta' do what you gotta' do - with what you've got - because the work has got to be done.
Rhett is turning out to be a pretty good. All the people praying for you and your family are working well. Or today could have turned out a whole lot worse.
Need to go back to the 70's Ford's, they are hard to beat when it comes to hard work! 😊 Praying for things to go better❤😊, and Thanks for a great video!!
Hello Anchor Brand Ranch from South Africa shoo i cant believe how young Rhett has grown shame and ye before long he,l be riding horses and taking part in all your farming activities..
Ram being his usual joyful and happy farmer /Dad ,where nothing is his ,but is used by all ,is not put away ,out back as it was found ,lol you know that kids don't learn until they are adults and it happens to themselves, then they say "oh now I know why Dad chased us along to do things ,Ram there's always something to look forward to aye ? I wonder if the 4x4 off road recovery guys and gals may have a old winch or two kicking about that they could gift you with for the trailer ,@Matts Off-road,@Trailmater ,@FabRats or anyone else ,and there are many people out there with the old fords ,getting parts shouldn't be too hard if the Stars can all align for you
Something is in the air ! It's happening to me and others as well! Simple tasks are turning into forever ! God is teaching us patience, and a get r done attitude!
Our trusted 'mini ranch truck' is a 1978 Toyota dually flatbed. Our heavy hauler is a 1997 dodge Cummins. Hope to maybe meet ya all at the Yerington rodeo .
As bad as things are, it's still better than working and living in town. As long as nobody gets hurt it's still a good day, and life is a learning experience.
Well Folks been a while since being able to say Howdy to All Y'all, Having family and parts to fall back on is precious. Having a Family Rebuilt Shop Class 12 Valve Cumins is Awesome There are chops that put Cumins into Fords and calls them FUMMINS Dont know what You call it going the Ford Body on Dodge Chassis but may haps You need to run a contest to that end. Y'all are an AMAZING Family and The term RANCHIN means there aint nothin Y'all cant Do. God Bless Stay Safe and on the road to life Stay Between the Ditches if You end up in a Ditch Stay Low The Bxxxxxxs Shoot High. Cannot believe we can see the end of the year from here Y'all are Absolutly Amazing !!!!!!!
Good camera work Rhett. Miss Laura you have a passall of good kids . Love seeing all of you working together to the goals they have set. Is that old Square Body Ford have a 7.3 Diesel in it ? I am a Ford man myself. Just sold my last F350 bout 9 months ago. Yo and yours have a blessed and Merry Christmas.
There's a bit of Merlin's Old School garage with that Cummins being started on the floor @Merlins Old School garage. c&c equipment have some fords kicking about .
Well your new camera man didn't make me sick. The commentary wasn't much, but all in all a pleasant experience. Can't you just ask one of those talented men of yours to go win a truck for their very supportive dad? Reggie hasn't been pulling his weight lately if you disregard the quiet factor. He can't get by for ever on his triple somersault dismount from the crazy sheep. I don't think there's even a buckle for that. Hope you're truck turns out like you planned it sounds like a beast.
I had a 2003 Duramax grenade the tranny, transfer case, water pump and drive shaft when the harmonic balancer came loose. It was too new to total and it was EXPENSIVE to fix!
I feel the same way when my kids barrow my stuff… it always comes back broken altered in someway and tied in knots Is Lorenzo still employed after dropping the clutch?
I've been told those are nessary days , we need to have a few of them. If i'd married a woman that was half the person your lady is , I would still be married.
Did it go boom when you shifted? Almost looks like your throwout bearing blew apart and wedged pieces between the clutch and ZF case. Let me know how accurate my diagnoses is.
Rhett's camera work was as Ridge's first time. Evan held it steady. Your wife is a peach. Not many gals would crawl under a truck in the dirt and hold up a drive line
Ram, I'm with you, i like the older equipment. Its more reliable. The new stuff just doesn't stand the test of time. But there is a requirement. It can't be wore out. Because thats a indicator that its time is up. Lol. This philosophy also works with people. So your only left with a couple of choices. Rebiuld it or baby it along. Just saying.....
My boss has 8 feed trucks. 4 of the 8 has cake boxes 😅 I blew my favorite feed truck transmission. Then my 2nd favorite feed truck. Then he blew the other transmission (2 month time frame) now we're feeding 1200+ cows. The cake box on this truck. Its electric motor is aboyt burnt out 😢
Here in Idaho if a car hits a cow or any livestock it's law that the car owner has to reimburse the rancher for the cow. I've owned several ford diesel's and that aluminum 5 speed ZF transmission was junk in all of them, only 1 made it to 200k miles.
@@anchorbrandranch I believe that the aluminum case is the problem, you might can use a 5 speed out of a Chevy or Dodge and just need to change the bell housing. There's companies that sell new aftermarket setups too but I'm sure you're like me and prefer the cheapest route.
This must be a weekday when y’all film this because none of the other kids are around cause Ridge would probably be right there with y’all helping and Rhett is growing up so fast
I was surprised to see that Rhett put on a pair of shoes, he seems to never have shoes on.🤣🤣🤣
Rhett did an awesome job and so did Laura!
Loved watching a family work together! I spent most of my first 20 years on a Wyoming ranch. How I miss the ranching culture!
🎶When the Family Gets Together🎶 came to mind.😃
Now that is a real shop class. They learn how to rebuild diesel engines. We learned on old lawn mower engines. That school should be commended.
Need to talk to the boys about borrowing their new trucks
Rhett did a pretty good job of being camera man!!
Rhett’s a Natural Camera Operator💕. My gosh, he did an excellent job. I was so impressed that while filming he was also listening and paying attention. You need to hire him to do it from now on when you both need someone to do the camera work! Fantastic job, Rhett❤️
Rhett done great. Good to see Reio rebuilding a engine skills needed on a ranch.
Oh I like her hat WSR , we have hats with those initialsWSR ,and it ,for us, stands for Willow springs raceway, it’s in Rosamond California, thanks BigAl California
Perfect, that is the perfect pickup! ❤️❤️ And that rebuilt motor sounds sweet, well done as always!!
Rhett did an awesome job as cameraman, not one seasick eye in the house. I love my old p/u's but they do fail seemingly on a regular basis. Can't blame Ramsey for getting a bit irritated about the straps especially after the day he had
Laura never told the story that scared both of you. Rhett did a great job with the camera
It's a good thing bad things come in 3's, you hit your quota. Rio, she sounds really good! Nice job! I'm just glad you all are ok!
Rhett did a great job recording. Good job Reo on the rebuild of the Cummins. One of the problems in driving older vehicles is you need spare vehicles for the days things break down. Rhett,,, did an amazing good job doing camera, nice and smooth, thanks BigAl California
Impressed with everyone's patience. I'm pretty sure I would have had at least one meltdown 😏
Rhett is a great camera man!! Love watching your videos. Good luck boys in your wrestling. My grandson is about to start his.
Rhett did a great job 👏
Give Rhett big thumbs up and looks like Santa needs to bring you a badlands winch and yes sir if it's on utube same as old television 📺 HAS TO BE TRUE
all of you did good today 👏 ❤
My gosh Rhet is such a great cameraman! All your kids work really hard to make you guys proud of them 🎉 Good job mom n dad❤
Ironic that you had all this truck trouble and shortly after Rio wins another truck. The winds of change are always working. I also commend you on your positive attitude in the midst of multiple disasters.
Family home evening usually fixes most of the problems
And yes beautiful sunset thank you!
Two really good helpers. Mama and Rhett
You've discovered a new cameraman! Love Rigey but Rhett is a natural.
You did a great job on handling your stress today, the camera man was very good today, may God always be watching out for and your family.
Don't worry, Ramzi. Old Fords never die. They just take long naps, at times....

The old Ford thought it was a stud and the trailer was a mare. Great video sorry for the bad luck with the truck
You sure treat your family great and they really respond to the treatment.May MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALL.
Good job Rhett!!💪

Hi Ram Laura and families awesome video love Rett camera style and as always you all be safe 🇺🇸🇺🇸
Hello Anchor Brand Ranch from South Africa shoo i cant believe how young Rhett has grown shame and ye before long he,l be riding horses and taking part in all your farming activities..
And that’s ranchin! That truck will be quite the rig. Good job Rhett with the camera.

Glad you’re ok - Rhett did an awesome job filming
Good to see y’all out & about.
You are right that was an expensive explosion! Hope the engine Rio is rebuilding will work in the Ford for you! Good Camera work Rhett!
Kid is a pro camera man 👏👏👏👏👏
Rough day, but, at least some good news & good cameraman footage, lol. That diesel rebuild , looking & sounding great.
Something is in the air !
It's happening to me and others as well! Simple tasks are turning into forever ! God is teaching us patience, and a get r done attitude!

No doubt about it Rett is the new camera man. It just comes naturally to him.
I think you have an up & coming prime cameraman! Rhett did great keeping the action in frame, even while running! ❤
Excellent camera work there Rhett!! Very steady. Enjoyed watching even though it was break downs
As bad as things are, it's still better than working and living in town. As long as nobody gets hurt it's still a good day, and life is a learning experience.
I think you should hire this new cameraman FOR THE JOB!!! Great solid work, Rhett!! No seasickness AT ALL!
Gonna be an awesome truck
RAMZI with bad luck u then get good luck the pupose of life hang in there brother cheers
I'm surprised Rhett's not driving yet! 😂
Keep those loader arms down when loading and unloading and no 360 turns with those track machines
Good thing ya got the Toy and a old square nose Cummins.
And pajama cowboy to supervise.🤠
Can't wait to see the finished truck!
Rhett wasn't much of a commentator but made a great cameraman.
Great camera man!!!
I think Ridge is out of the cameraman job!🤔🤣😉👍👌💪✌️🇺🇸
Great job Rhett! Love those lucky pjs.
My favorite ranch family.

Yeah that scattered hard. Sounds like a typical bad day on the farm or ranch. When one thing goes it’s like dominoes.
Nice job Rhett, you might be the best camera man in the family!
Rhett is a star!
Where there is a will there is a way never give up !!!
Good camera work Rhett. Miss Laura you have a passall of good kids . Love seeing all of you working together to the goals they have set.

10:08 It would appear you have a hybrid truck/trailer on the way. I don’t know what gestation is on this species, but 2024 is gonna be lit!
Rhett is like me when I was his age never wear shoes
There's a bit of Merlin's Old School garage with that Cummins being started on the floor @Merlins Old School garage.

All that is Hard Days ,,,but it is Personal. ,, And Look how Well Your Kids are Awesome 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 25:24
Rhett needs some Hey dudes so he can slip them on and off. Super easy and super comfy.
Good camera work Rhett
I had a 2003 Duramax grenade the tranny, transfer case, water pump and drive shaft when the harmonic balancer came loose. It was too new to total and it was EXPENSIVE to fix!
The ole Mopar saved the day. Its Mopar or no car !!!
THANKS!
I feel the same way when my kids barrow my stuff… it always comes back broken altered in someway and tied in knots
Is Lorenzo still employed after dropping the clutch?
Looks like Rio is your new Ratrod builder. This should be good. He is young. Young have no fear and don’t know what “can’t be done” means.
I've been told those are nessary days , we need to have a few of them. If i'd married a woman that was half the person your lady is , I would still be married.
Now that Ream's out of town you might have a chance to
enter a Rodeo and win you a truck. But there is the Rio facture.
Keep up the cowboy life
Where there’s a will, there’s a way
Day in the life of cowboy. I am glad you are ok
We don't know what you are doing but you sure do it good!
Did it go boom when you shifted? Almost looks like your throwout bearing blew apart and wedged pieces between the clutch and ZF case. Let me know how accurate my diagnoses is.
Never a Dull Moment at the Ranch. The main thing NO one was hurt in the making of this video 🎉
Might need to get a Cyber amigo.
So Cecil B. DeMille (Jr) is doing the cinematography.
Rhett's camera work was as Ridge's first time. Evan held it steady. Your wife is a peach. Not many gals would crawl under a truck in the dirt and hold up a drive line
Where is "THE RIDGE"?
Pretty handy lil fellers
looked like the ford was trying to shaft the trailer

Is there a better option that can go in place of it in this 96 power stroke?

Use the heavier duty NV4500 5 speed and not the lighter duty getrag though.
This must be a weekday when y’all film this because none of the other kids are around cause Ridge would probably be right there with y’all helping and Rhett is growing up so fast
Laura is about the best ranch wife a man could have she wasn't afraid to get right in there and crawl under and help her man.
