- Namaste everyone!
Fourth edition of the "Multilingual Singers" video, and this time, we move from Africa, Asia and Europe to the Americas, but there's a small twist.
Since most of the American voices (who dub in American languages like English, Brazilian Portuguese or Latin Spanish) aren't really multi-lingual or, perhaps they are but I couldn't find much info about their multilingual performances, I decided to make this one for a singer, who is American-born indeed, but has dubbed for Indian languages.
Presenting, trilingual Indo-American singer Alisha Thomas (@AlishaThomasMusic), who voiced the songs of the beloved Princess Anna from Disney's blockbuster flick Frozen II, in not one, but two languages (neither of which are her native languages lol) - Tamil and Telugu.
Though once again, I am pretty sure she has sung in probably many more languages than just these, I could only locate these 9 language performances across the internet, and so, here's the Tamil and Telugu voice of Anna singing in 9 languages across the world!
1. Malayalam
2. English (American accent)
3. French
4. German
5. Hindi
6. Punjabi
7. Spanish
8. Tamil
9. Telugu
So, which of these languages (other than her native Malayalam and English) do you think she absolutely nailed? How is her accent? Could she possibly be the voice of a Disney character in your language too? Let me know in the comments below! ;)

Woah, her Spanish is amazing (I feel a bit bad when my first reaction to a polyglot speaking practically perfect Spanish is being surprised, because why wouldn't she be that good).
I mean, the fact of speaking 9 languages is already impressive enough on its own, but she's also good enough at some of those languages (which are not even her mother tongue!) that she's able to dub films in them, what a legend.
Hehe, Alisha cannot speak all these 9 languages. She can speak only three. In the remaining languages she sings phonetically (kinda like fandub artists on youtube do, but with more precision in pronunciation of course).
Glad to hear her Spanish was good!
Superb performance in all the languages. All the best Alisha 💐🎉👏👏
I can feel how many languages there are in India. (Even though Papua New Guinea is the country with the most languages in the world lol)
Indeed. India doesn't have as many languages as Papua but, it has about 22 official languages domestically! Hopefully disney catches up and makes dubs in all of them someday hihii.
V nice performance. Best wishes 💐💐💐💐
I hope to see Frozen and other Disney Classics dubbed in Malayalam soon so we can here her voice more!
I am legit hoping she gets casted as the Malayalam Isabella or Dolores from Encanto, her voice would rock those roles hihii! Fingers crossed, lets hope for the best!
Amazing.. BEST WISHES

Tamil accent perfect 🥰
How is her Hindi? I think her French was pretty good.
Her Hindi is as good as a native speaker!
Couldn't hear any American or even Malayalam accent whatsoever. She really is quite versatile linguistically.
Glad to hear her french was nice.

I didn't understand a word she was singing in German and I absolutely love it
Well; German is not a language she knows so I assume she must have an accent and perhaps some mispronunciations....but here is what she intended to sing at least. ;)
Feuer, Lebenslust, schwellt echte Ungarbrust,
hei! Zum Tanze schnell! Czárdás tönt so hell!
Braunes Mägdelein, musst meine Tänz'rin sein;
Reich den Arm geschwind, dunkeläugig Kind!
@@rishabhrox1 I think it's mostly the way that song is sung and the audio quality of the clip is not that good which makes me not understand it, but thanks for providing the lyrics^^'
So, what three languages does she actually speak?
Malayalam (her native tongue), English and some Tamil (not sure of her proficiency level, but I believe she learnt this language to pursue a singing career in the Tamil film industry of India called "Kollywood").
Keep shining as brightly as you do!! You are missing out - P-R-O-M-O-S-M!!!
Can she sing in bengali?
