the storytelling is based on the real life experiences of an escaped slave, Ms. Harriet Tubman [born into slavery as Araminta Ross]..who risked her freedom, as well as her life many times over, to go back across USA state lines to rescue *at least* 70 other slaves. it was illegal to teach owned human beings to read and write [which is interesting because racists always said slaves were too unintelligent and could never learn how🙄] so because she never had an opportunity she wasn't able to use those skills to do what she did. instead she relied on her belief in god and she was known to have extremely accurate intuitive abilities. as she somehow always knew how to avoid the many forms of danger, including human slave trackers, that could have thwarted her efforts. and she ran at least 13 or 14 missions, to bring other slaves to freedom with the help of the Underground Railroad network which was supported by other abolitionists. Ms. Tubman was also a spy and scout [armed🔫] during the USA's civil war. she was one of the bravest human beings to ever walk this earth and her story is definitely worth knowing about.👍
