@@MUSICIANGeeK My quick impressions for later reference. Thanks for the demo. I am choosing between GP100 and GP200 so this and your acoustic patches video were very helpful!
Have you ever had an issue with it sounding staticky/having white noise? Mine makes extra sound on every present. Running the guitar right into the input and am using brand new headphones. I dont hear it as much if I play through my amp but its def still there.
Only when using a high Gian tone, & then inusenone of the noise gates & that cleans it up. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
Great video - thanks! I bought this to get sounds for fingerstyle tapping on my acoustic. I also have a Zoom AC-2 - So how do I get the 100 out of my chain without unpluging it? Yeah -faily new to pedalboards.
Hello sorry, seen your nice review, I would like to ask you something, I just bought it, but plugged in my Ibanez as 93 FM with p58 the sound is distorted, as if the input signal was too strong, both in the amp and in the headphones, what should I do? Lower the volume on the guitar or are there parameters to set on the valenton? Helpoooooo!😅
Hello. There is a master volume on the Valeton that can be adjusted, as well as the gain, & master volume on the amp sim in the preset. You can adjust those until the sound is no longer distorted. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
Hello, I don't own a Valeton GP-100 yet and I ask myself things I don't found in the downloaded .pdf manual : how to jump up or down from a factory or user preset to another NOT next one only using the 2 footswitches ? How to bypass with the footswitches ? What can I do only with the footswitches to be free from kneeling to touch the GP-100 or use a computer ? Thank you for answers, and for these 5 excellent videos.
Hello, there are 2 modes when it comes to the switches on this unit. 1 preset mode. Where the 2 buttons go up, & down through the presets. 2 stomp box mode. Where you keep on 1 preset, but use the 2 buttons to turn on, or off selected effects in that one preset. I hope that helps. Thanks for watching.
Thanks for answers but know I'm french, in France of course, and I'm not sure to really understand what you answered. So, can you make one more little video to show us what we can do with that Valeton GP-100 only with the feet to not be so prisoner of the PREsets when in action on stage. I don't get on Valeton GP-100 yet and I want to be sure to be free with It close as with my dying Zoom 3030 offering 7 banks of 4 factory presets + 7 banks of 4 user presets = 56 presets, I can jump to anyone when choosing a bank while still in another preset. So freely and easyly.
I had this exact question that I sent to Valeton. After some time they eventually answered. The answer is you cannot program random presets to the footswitches. They suggested that you create your own presets in line with each other.
Btw, I think most of these budget multi-effects pedals operate on the same platform though I believe the NUX MG-30 has some features that utilize scenes
I'm pretty sure that you can. Unfortunately, I can't confirm, because I just gave away my GP-100 away as part of my 1st giveaway contest I had on the channel. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
Actually I have not used the NUX MG300 at all, so I can't say for sure. I got this unit based on the build quality. The Valeton is made completely out of metal. The NUX, Harley Benton, & Moore unita are made primarily of plastic. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
Thank you so much for your support. That really does mean everything. Thanks for subscribing also. Glad some people are getting some value out of these videos.
In all honesty, I have never used the Nux Mg300. I chose the Valeton GP100 because of the build quality. It's all metal, where the Nux mg300 is all plastic. Thanks for watching/commenting, & of you have not yet already, please subscribe.
Tryed both. I like Valetone's sounds more. Nux has a little bit more amps. Valeton has more pedal effects includig delays and reverbs. Nuxe's shimmer sucks) Val is three times cheaper and amazingly small.
The pedal is awesome. Just needs to be calibrated. I use it all the time for Volume & Wah. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not already, please subscribe
The thing is..All these vidoes with great advice for this and that. The problem is..What are you playing through? A combo or a head? Thanks, but you didnt help at all. (I have a combo)
Obviously you did not watch the beginning of the video where I explained the signal chain I used. I was not playing through an amp at all. That is not what this unit is primarily used for. Especially when using amp sims. You wouldn't use a amp sim, into an actual amp. If you do that, it would sound like crap. Maybe next time you criticize a video.... actually watch it 1st. Again, I say what the signal chain is at the beginning of the video. I am going from the outputs of the unit into the recording Interface.
@@MUSICIANGeeKNot to be an idiot but this would be alright with a combo amp as long as I disable the amp and cab sims right? And use the cleanest settings on my amp? Thank you

If that was the default settings, then yes. This is just a review/demo of the factory presets out of the box.
