Growing is such a steep learning curve where so much can go wrong, as a newbie i was using tap water ph at 6.5 and adding half the nutes than recommended and getting nute burn on the autos which don't need as much but i didn't realise that our tap water is around 4 to 500 ppm then add nutes and its through the roof which was killing the plants, its all about finding the right balance which is so hard😅
@Wilksey75 bro... Arizona is hotter than you think. The news takes the temp from a thermometer at the airport located in the shade. SO when the high says 120deg F, you can bet in the sun, the temps will be 130 - 140 deg F. We also get over 100 days each year with highs above 110deg F. Az is nice in the winter.
I got rare corn given to me several years ago that will produce its own nitrogen . You can see this liquid coming from the roots that feed the microbes . After a few years of crossing it I grew it nothing but fill sand around our pool with no fertilizer to put it through some of the roughest conditions I could and I got a decent harvest . The ears weren't huge but I was surprised it made anything at all . I enjoyed the show as always !
My mom never wanted anything to do with weed, she never cared that I smoked though. But after I started growing she's starting to feel different about it. She even swears by CBD now. She decided to give it a try for her back pain and it's been like a wonder drug for her, no more pain. She gets CBD gummies from the vape store all the time, we live in prohibition land and there's a ton of that Delta 8 shit. I wanna find a pure CBD plant, preferably an autoflower, that I can start growing for her and make oils and stuff with. And that way I'll know what she's consuming because the shop gave her gummies with Delt 8 the other day and she didn't know it until they started to kick in. She didn't like that too much...

Thanks dudes. My seedlings show deficiency of CaMg on first leaf. I add CaMg in powdered form to soil before planting. By second set of leaves it's almost gone. Relistening to this video. I also see a potassium deficiency end of flower with photos in 3 gallon totes. Switched to 6 gallon totes for photos in flower. Which fixed deficiency in end of flower. Also using bananas in my worm bed now. I only use the worm leechate and not the casting because it's outdoor and pest. I am using about 1 1/2 cups of type s dolomite cement to 3 gallons of lucky dog. Think the training makes thicker stems. So plants use more CaMg and silica. 4 inch plants 3-4 sets of leaves staked/leaned over with stem almost as thick as a sharpie. Leaves are praying. Seems like the short bush pheno of the 4k from Irie is worse than the 2 taller ones. The shorter one did take longer to sprout in water and break the soil. I run about 60-65*F in basement. I use lucky dog because it seems to work for seedlings, clones, and vegetables. Not for hard wood cuttings of fruit trees or root stocks. I love giving out jars of weed, vegetables, fruits, and honey for free. I gave my skunk testers away because couldn't get back to camp to harvest them. I am just a budget hobby grower when it comes to cannabis.
I just found out I have to do chemo again. I have four plants in veg. Going to to take clones and put them in Scottys sip buckets. Ready to put it on auto 🙂 With all the tips and advice i have 5lbs so even if I can’t keep up with the grow I will be fine. Now to focus on the important thing, killing cancer without myself. I'm a truck driver for over 10 years no accidents ever and I took a break from the road to work on my house. While I was working on my house I was going to renew my med certification and found out my blood pressure was to high.i was a smoker ( nicotine) 35 years and have tried to quit smoking cigarettes before, so this time I tried hemp ( sold in stores in texas) and it worked, so I waited 3 weeks to clean out for the dot piss test and failed ( hemp is defined as 3 percent or less of thc, I waited 3 weeks) I was not employed by any transportation company at all ( I failed on a pre-employment test ) now I'm in the clearinghouse and screwed.. can not find anything around here that even resembles a job. I was hoping trump would hurry up and fed legalize it but I'm out of time. Good luck everyone. This is the super bird and I'm gone
When you are growing autos and you are in late flower don’t confuse deficiencies or your plant being sick. It may just not have any time left in its life cycle.

My struggle is breeding more seeds. Indoor limited space. Outdoor have acres, but short zone 5-4 season. 8 weeks of flower is pushing it and swamp lands all around so mold resistance is a must. I would like to see a cultivar spotlight. Where you dudes talk about best practices of growing one cultivar. I would start with cherry paloma. I want to hear about the og growers soil, and environment. I know some parts of Colorado have similar zones to mine. But I can't get high altitude uv. Sage and sour is not the same even gown in pine forest as it is in an Alpine environment. Get little hill on the show. He makes good points about environment. How one valley over the clones grow different or even an extra 4000 feet of altitude. Look at the ocean grown stuff like Blue Dream. Something about that coastal environment gives the cultivar it's signature taste and profile.
Just go on them Community threads. Real growers are consistent with question like a template almost, medium, soil, nutes, condition and environment etc
best plants ive grown have been triploids..ive been growing over 30 years and triploids thrive..people panic at different stages of growth not realising some plants need time to bloom.most important period is the first 28 days from seed..dont be afraid to spray pale seedling with epsom salts every 3 to 4 days..and water when the pots feel light..another tip is dont be too quick to spray the soil after germination..leave them a week before their first water..they will have plenty of water at the root zone..if the pots feel light then its time to water or wait until the sides dry out leaving a gap around the soil..start with small amounts of filtered water per seedling pot..start feeding from the beginning..
I just had to say that most bag dirt like hp pro mix is a soil-less mix so unless your making your own soil using top soil then sorry to say you don't have the same microbe active happing like in true garden soil that's outside. I can grow mushrooms in my soil by just keeping it moist cant do that with hp pro mix or fox farm.
I am an Avid Grow Dots user! All I add is Silicium through the grow and Ruby F$&$iC and Winter Frost at the end. Very rarely have I had to add Cal Mag. Sometimes we do way too much! I call it “Loving my plants to DEATH”☠️
not gonna lie, my first salvia trip was a view of the earth from space, all humans were red cogs, and the cogs were connected to one another working in sequence, i kept trying to tell my friend he wasnt in the right place and needed to move over a little. In the you tube recording of me tripping, it was completely different than what i saw and heard in my head. i was just tripping out yelling at them threating to kill them. LOL, it was a pretty messed up april fools but everyone should experience a salvia trip at some point in their life.
A little Kelp meal, quality worm castings, aloe gel and bioag humic /fulvic acid water it in and it works for me anytime I’ve ever had any issues no matter the plant species
the single biggest problem i have that im still yet to figure why it is happening. Is that i get curling stunted plants. where the space between the nodes is very small and new growth has bent leaflets. i dont know what is causing it :( i have tried many different things but am still yet to know why it happens.
Scotty, sounds like it could be a zinc deficiency or manganese deficiency. Depending on if it’s an immobile nutrient deficiency where the chlorosis is happening. Does the new growth have it or old growth?

I know a guy who used to smoke herb and sometimes got severe anxiety and issues when he over did it a bit. Now that he only vapes, he can get ripped beyond reason without any negative effects. I guess not having carbon monoxide supplant oxygen in his cells and whatever the effect benzene has when combusting, has proven beneficial. I’m ok with either myself but for those who experience negatives, give vaping quality dry flower a try. It is my preference without a doubt. Gotta do what works for you.

in my 35 years as a grower, i find that PH is a issue that is the most comon.. my citys water is trash, the ph of my RO is 4.1 in spring, 5,5 in summer and 6.1 in winter... its trash water...

Dude, orange ice pop I’ve grown that plant. It’s a monster if you like orange Terps, it’s very nice. Get a little bit of a gassy finish as well.

Always do a very mild ph’d nutrient solution flush. Unless you’re dealing with overwatering.
