    Native Americans would be amazed at seeing someone from the 15th century wearing a peruke wig and a black face patch popular in the 17th and early 18th.

      Even the 17th and 18th century dress was very plain and unadorned, they weren't called Puritans for nothing

      😂😂😂😂 I thought the same. Only an american could mistake and mix the last medieval and the baroque epoques, both are almost 300 hundred years away. Almost such a long time as the USA history... 😂😂😂

    Great set, covered a lot of territory. The room of countries with no violent past is perfect. Nasty insights excite.

    Medieval peasants only lived 150 days in the year. Lol. No religious cult told them to relax.

    Medieval peasants worked for their lord, for about 150 days a year but did not get paid for it. The rest of the year they had to try to grow enough food to last the year.

    • @dao8805
      @dao8805 3 месяца назад +2

      Now most people work 50 weeks per year and do not make enough to cover the basic cost of living, including paying most of what they earn to their landLORD and many are trying to grow their own food in their "spare" time because they cannot afford the price of groceries. Medieval peasantry is looking better all the time.

      Yep, I'm not ready yet to accept "150 days a year". I'm pretty sure between slaving for their lord, even by lamplight, they also had to feed themselves and grow enough crops or build sufficient craft objects to be able to trade for seed, labour, fabric, etc.
      So I'm guessing 10 or more hours a day, 6 days a week for most weeks, with the odd day off for a festival. But their rest day wasn't spent resting, it was for house maintenance, caring for their ducks & goats, tool repair, etc.

    Is that really true about Zelenski being a comedian? I know hw is a joke...but a comedian???

    • @nevillewran4083
      @nevillewran4083 3 месяца назад +3

      Yes, Ukrainians were mega pissed off at their politicians and the system. Zelenski ran as a joke, as satire, and won in a surprise. Not long into his term Russia invaded. He seems to have risen to the challenge.
