Amstaff is love, they are very well behaved easy to train and perfect guard 💂♀️ people compare them with APBT and take them for ill tempered breed but trust me this breed is really friendly. It has been more then five years Bella has been with me and she has always been such a darling

Maybe I’m just lucky but I had a pit Bull for 14years that was the friendliest dog I had ever met. I recently got amstaff pup and I have to say…no difference. Both great breeds that are extremely obedient and loyal. If your the type of person who requests your dog attack others, unfortunately they will listen to you
Your first dog more likely was an amstaff too the only ones who have real pitbulls are the dog man who breed pitbulls for the 4x4

I don't have an opinion on ear cropping thing but it would be good if all those who are so passionate about stopping the cropping of ears were as passionate about stopping the systematic neutering and spaying of young dogs as that does actually harm dogs. Guess what, most are not from what I've seen. To that they show a blind eye.

Unless you wait until after puberty to alter them. Also cropping is just for an owners ego, there is no reason at all to crop, there is a reason to alter. Still, your dog, your choice. Beautiful pooch either way.

@@kosmictek they are supposed to get them cut only if dog is used in the fights because it's weak point, if you don't use your dog for fights which i hope you don't, then you cut of his or hers ears just for aesthetic reasons to have a more tough looking dog and that's all, because pitt bull/staffy/bully breeds are no different from other dogs but you never hear lab or golden retrievers need to have their ears cut off, before you get a dog educate yourself on the topic.

Too all the people in the comment section talking about the dogs ears I know a lot of u are gonna dislike this comment but it’s his dog he can do what ever he wants I don’t like the fact that the dogs can get hurt from this but I’m not against the ear cropping and it’s nothing but a style. Also obviously some dogs need it for medical reasons, and it’s not like it’s gonna hurt the dog long term or anything.

My Amstaff looks almost exactly like your doggie... except that I would never EVER cut his ears. Sorry to say, but that's animal abuse. Imagine your own ears being cut like that... not so fun huh?

-It's not true that your dog needs her ears to be cut to prevent infections. Do your research.
-Yes the dog looks "tougher" but it doesn't mean that they actually need that. It's an unnecessary cosmetic procedure without any actual science to back it up.
Talk to any vet. Or browse the archives of the American Veterinary Medical Association if you want to read about it. It's all online.
