❤❤❤❤❤❤😊
Oh my gosh thank you! All these videos about arteries are usually so vague and never mention the specific anatomical guides. Thank you!!
It's the best class of anatomy for injectors I've had in a very very long time. Thanks a million Dr. Dan, I'm a huge fan
Funny that those are the spots that facial fillers look horrible anyway… They’re supposed to be tight/thin skin in that area … although some people would rather look like an alien, then look old
He’s a nurse. Not a doctor but far better than any doctor injecting as far as I’m concerned
Excellent, Thank you. You are really helping me with my Aesthetics courses your visuals, explanations & style of teaching is making it so much easier 😁
WOW!! IM FROM MEXICO , AND YOUR EXPLANATION WAS SUPER CLEAR AND RIGHT TO THE POINT , THANK YOU SO MUCH!
You and Sarah are awesome. 👏🏻❤️
I was wondering if you could use a green marker for the "safe" spots..and red for no, no!
Thx
There is very safe spots
Great video!
It helped me a lot! I'm looking for a dermatologist and I don't want to be ignorant, while they are explaining.
I only use a needle to bone. I knew the Cannula would come out as unsafe. I’ll stay old school thank you. I get amazing results with a needle
As far as I’m concerned, cannula tears through tissue, you can’t aspirate using a cannula and it’s quite unsafe
Marvellous. Excellent..ur a great teacher..i gained a lot from ur videos..u alwaz share very informative points GOD Bless u
You explained this so well. The writing on the head made it perfect. Thank you 😊
Franchement, bravo ! Excellente vidéo j'adore vous êtes le meilleur mais ce serait franchement bien si vous pouviez faire un sous titrage en français. Mille mercis et bonne continuation grand chef !
Omgourd!!! As a new injector Im SO happy to have found these amazing videos and the fact that you are Canadian is refreshing!
Thank you! So kind. More videos to come.
Beautiful explanation.. This is why I only to to my plastic Dr to do these. I will do meso at home ..
Hi! Thank you for such great content. I have a question about using cannulas vs. needles. Would you mind telling me which studies you read o
claiming cannulas cause necrosis and blindness? I’d love to read them before I order another batch of them!🥴Thanks!
Thank you for speaking to the canine fossa area!
Can I ask how deep is deep in millimetres and how much is superficial ? Thanks
Superficially is just under the dermis. Deep is on or just off the bone!
Hey Dan! In case you don't already know you are taking off in the filler youtube video game! Keep up the good work! The way you explain things is so informative and direct. I also make informative videos but mine are on myself lol Anyways Keep The Content Coming!!! Thanks!!
I forgot to say I have noticed your videos on Doctors playlists here on youtube! It truly speaks to how great your information is.
Paulina Marie XO Thank you. That’s so nice of you to say. Absolutely, more videos to come!
All the best.
Dan
yes ! I am from Poland! You are so good in teaching so clear and simple! Thank You a lot, and please continue!
Thank you Dan, your explanations and demonstrations are very helpful!
Happy to hear that!
I agree his so good I enjoy all his RUclips uploads.. thanks Dan for great job😊
Didn’t know that about the cannulas. This is an old video is that still the case in 2023. I have seen use them in your videos. Now I’m Curious 🤔
I have watched a lot of veins and artery teachings on RUclips, but you explain it the best.
Can a hyaluronic pen do any damages to these large arteries??.
Not sure. I’ve never used them because they’re not approved in Canada.
@@danestheticsmedical that's surprising I wonder why they're not legal there. I heard they're not dangerous I like mine
Thank you so much for these videos. They have been very helpful in finding skilled practitioners.
thank you very much for this amasing anatomy class, I 've got one question please, how could I be sure that I entering canula superficially? it's difficult to know the depth of injection while using canula
Thanks alot for your help ..may you tell me the size of the nedle which used to deep injection
Wow I liked 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Omg!! You are Ahhhhhhmazing!!
First time ever seeing your videos, and wow you teach and explain things so well, and you seriously make it intriguing and fun!!! Ty!! ❤️🙏🏼❤️ never stop making these please!! Lol.
Thanks! More to come
I wish I was Sarah 😍
But seriously, I am loving your videos. So helpful thank you 🙏🏼
Fillers or threads? Is this a guide for using fillers or threads? Do these principles apply to threads too? I have always been confused about how deep threads need to go. Into the dermis or subcutaneous fat layer?
Hi! Ejal and profhilo. Is there any risks with this? Any tips? Is there risk with the artery when inject subcuntan?
When we are using canulla we are going to aspirate also ? Pls answer. I m amazed this is a stunning video
yes
So interesting ..thankyou doc
Great! I learned a lot from your video
Thank you so much. This is very much needed. As us women across the globe are opting to do this instead of going to a doctor's office because of the high prices some of us can afford the price tag at this moment especially during this pandemic. Beauty is a cause of big business and I guess you can say we're willing to pay just about any price to have it so you doing this and teaching us a safer way really saves a lot of disappointments maybe and unreversible consequences. It is still up to us too shall I say play it on risk still in all thank you so much for this 💯🙏🏾❤️
Te lo haces sola?
lol if i’m paying to get a nose job i’m getting that damn nose job permanent from a professional
Ivy, I hope you are not doing this at home. Do not attempt this at home. This is a job for trained professionals. This is not like cutting your bangs after looking at a video.
Where are you located? All the surgeons pale in comparison to how much you know about fillers, so much so that I’m afraid to work with them now.
Ottawa, Canada 🇨🇦
Danesthetics Medical Oh darn
Hi Dan, when you say go deep (jawline) do you mean by that; put the product below the muscle onto the bone? Thanks!
Hi Jeff, stay tuned I’m posting an updated video for jawline fillers
@@danestheticsmedical awesome. Cant wait!
Dear Dan thanks for such informative video and teaching. Kindly if you could explain the injection technique of middle cheek. Thanks
Sounds good. Thanks for commenting!
Hi:) thanks for the videos. I am not an injector...i have a question: as Radiesse filler is injected on the bone surface, is the weight of the filler on the bone or on the muscle??
You can place Radiesse on or off the bone.
I want to ask if transverse fasial artery is deep or superficial. And also zygomatico fasial artery deep or superficial?
Can we aspirate while using the canula or it is useless
Great videos.
My question is about maxillary artery . When injecting lateral cheek bone with needle down on the bone 90 degree around the swift point . Are not we close to maxillary artery? How can you avoid that? What is your landmark to locate this artery? Also can you show us your technique for anterior cheek augmentation around mid pupillary line ( to be specific your technique to augment deep malar fat pad). Thanks a lot
Great question.
1. The maxillary artery runs under the cheek bone and comes out of the infra orbital hole or foramen, now called the infra orbital artery. It also connects to the temporal arteries, but you will be safe along the cheek bone.
2. I usually use a cannula and eye this area. I’m simply filling in the space that’s hollowed out, but I’m always conscious of where I want my point of light reflex to be (apex point or Swift’s point). This prevents me from overfilling.
Hope this helps!
Dan.
Thank you for the video. But there is some conflict between what you say here on this video at 5:08 min and your danger zone filler video. Here you are saying anything medial to mid pupillary line to be deep to be safe but on another video ,the danger zone video( filler) at 6:48 min you are saying to be safe there are two way : one to be lateral to mid pupillary line or if you have to be medial to mid pupillary line Don’t be deep.
So can you please clarify this. When we are treating medial deep fat pad or anything medial to mid pupillary line should we go deep or superficial? Thanks
I have this same question. Did you ever find the answer?
@saghy
Very important
You are amazing.. Very useful information. Thank you
Thank you!
Great video, Dan. Thank you
Ryan H. Nguyen 🙏🏼 much appreciated
Hi one question how do I know if the procedure I had with canula for my smile lines is not going to cause me a complication, you said certain procedures may cause a problem in the future? please explain me. Thanks
Hi Dan just found you these are great. You said here you’ll be doing a session on DOA Botox & fillers .. but I can’t see it on your page? I’m subscribed now so look forward to more. Stay safe .. donna UK
D A 👋🏼 Thank you for subscribing and for your question. Health Canada prevents me from discussing any possible treatment outcomes using botox or its equivalents. Unfortunately I had to remove all of my content relating to it. I’ll be focusing on fillers, injection techniques & safety from now on.
Regards,
Dan
Ok thanks Dan yep so does the U.K. can’t have any before and after photos too just followed you on insta so can keep networking 👍🏻
Great! My anatomy is a little different. The notch in my jaw is directly underneath the corners of my mouth!
Awesome, thank you!
Hello doctor 🙂💕🙂 love you , i have question can i use dermapen instead of injection with filler or botox and how and which tipe of filler or botox we can use .thank you so much .a new fan of Iraq .Meethak
Please keep teaching Dan. 🥰
The facial artery lies deep to the zygomaticus major and levator labii superioris muscles.
K
A true Master !
I see so many "DIY" people just go straight in with a needle, so that's a safer way to go? like you say?
Thank you! Big fan! Keepem coming
How deep of a needle tip gets the filler tot he bone? Thanks!
Dr. what if one wants to fix a recessed midface area? say one had an underbite in the past which got fixed with orthodontics but now they want to fix their sunken midface look, can filler there be injected deeply right on the maxillary bone to mimic bone growth?
Just love you, do simple and direct👍
Hey dan in one of your videos you said inject superficial in upper half of the nasolabial fold and then here in this video you said inject deep in the nasolabial fold ,iam too confused could you explain it more ,thanks.
The nasolabial folds is a really tricky area to treat. I start deep, with a bolus to the piriform fossas. Then I’ll fan superficially with a cannula.
Hiiiii can your arteries displace after a facelift?
ı dont understand how 22g cannula ticks an artery
Is this just for fillers or does this apply to Botox too? A doctor is doing Botox for migraines on me next week and I am worried about it.
Can you get necrosis or blindness with Botox?
Cory Lynn Hi! These risks only apply for fillers. There’s minimal risk with botox. Good luck with your success!
Danesthetics thank you for your response!
Love this video!!❤️ you’re the best
Thanks!
Hi, where may I get a practice face doll?
Hey Dan!! Actually is there any procedure to make my face look broader? I've a good chin and a good jaw line I just wanted to know that is there anything to make my face look oval instead of a square.
Botox to the masseters can shrink the squared jaw!
Hello Doc
What is your opinion about the use of Nitro compounds (No 2) Nitroglycerin on the ischemic area
?
thank you
dv Am Great question. Adding nitro paste and taking ASA are recommendations as best practices, based on theory. However, none of these are evidence based recommendations. I recommend keeping it in your crash cart.
Hope this helps.
@@danestheticsmedical thank you for your kind advice. It was very helpful.
Hey Dan you said that canulas also make complications, why do they make complications is it because they may use canules smaller than 25 gauge?
Yes, usually
Thank you so much
Is this VIDEO made for women to DO IT THEMSELVES AT HOME ? THANKS GINA
Hi Gina. It’s made for medical professionals looking for extra education. It’s also for anyone looking for more information about risks and benefits of medical aesthetics.
Awesome thank you!
Thank you so much, you are awesome
Thank you Dan! So just to be clear, if one were to inject the apple of the cheek with a needle (the “apple” to me, is the center of the cheek at the point that meets from the middle of the tragus to the outer rim of the iris) , we would need to insure to go straight at a 90 degree angle, to the bone, and inject there. This would be a “safe” area to deposit the filler?
As long as you inject on the bone (periosteum) and don't go medial of the mid-pupillary line (to avoid the infraorbital foramen), I would say it is pretty safe. However, I would also always use a 25-27 g needle, aspirate, and personally, I never deposit more than 0.1 ml at each site.
@@CH-is1vc thank you C H🙂!
very good!!! dr
Great video!!
thank you thank you thank you!
Where can I watch videos of your injection techniques? Thanks
I’m working on it!
Amazing.
عاشت ايدك ولو اني كلشي ماافتهمت لأن مامترجم 😊
I want to get cheek Fillers. I Am male and my zygomatic arch needs to be filled. I am in Germany. The Doctor i was going for an consultation told me he would prefer to inject Radiesse over an Hyaluronfiller. I cant find very much in the Web about it. Is it generally not so common around the world or does it have so many drawbacks that it's not a favorite Thing to use? Never had injections and just want to have my zygomatic arch balanced. Thanks
Radiesse has it’s pros and cons. Pros = it builds calcium along the bone and dissolves after 1 year. Cons = if you don’t like it, you’re stuck with it. There’s also no dissolver for this solution. Because of this, it’s slightly riskier if there’s an arterial occlusion. But the cheekbones are a relatively safer area to inject.
@@danestheticsmedical Thank you for your feedback. So after all hyaluronic acid like juvederm voluma is safer because it can be dissolved, right? I Think i am mostly afraid of general Side Effects like granuloma wich maybe occurs after a few Month. Is there a difference between hyaluronic acid and Radiesse when it comes to tolerability? My doc just told me there is almost no risk and that the Risk of granuloma or intolerability only occurs when the filler is not placed in the right layer or depth. Can u agree on that? Sorry to bother you
I take it back, it’s up the zygomatic though here comes up so shallow a cannula for the infra arterial bone underneath but on top 2 cm across. Sales 101, KEEP IT SIMPLE, ie CHEEKS, DEEP, here Shallow, geez
Thank you
ecsellent video, thnak you
Hello, does this apply to Profhilo too ?
Peah P Hi! Sorry for the delay. We don’t have that product in Canada, but it’s essentially a very thin non cross linked HA filler. There are reports of medications in suspension, which are essentially just liquid, causing vascular occlusion when injected in the wrong location. So yes, it still applies. And why an intimate knowledge of vascular anatomy is key with injectables.
Hope this helps.
Dan.
Thanks
You look like the actor on the Netflix series "You".
Is it still your opinion that cannula isn't safer?
Barbara Grubbs This is only my opinion. I believe that, with exception to the nose, a 25g cannula or larger is safer than using a needle.
@@danestheticsmedical Oh. I thought you said the opposite in your video (that newer research was showing just as much injury or more with cannulas). Thanks.
Where are you located
Ottawa Ontario
But why is it when you made a video of sculptra technique you would inject the danger zones using cannula but just now you said they aren’t safer ?
Why are the cheeks injected deeply when using a microcannula? Wouldn't less filler be needed if it was more superficial?
Arielle great question! You’re correct, it may be done superficially, and is at times done this way. I prefer not to because our superficial fat moves with our facial expressions. The deep fat doesn’t. By injecting into the SOOF (deep fat) it helps prevent the product from migrating, and provides a more natural looking result.
Hope this helps!
Dan
I got a lomb With injecting superfacial, so, i think that deep is way better.
Min 05:08 / 05:10 Deep in that zone? Is not the opposite?😬
Yes deep!
amazing
Thanks!
You are so handsomee!
Haha! Thanks :)
Everyone just says deep,However what depths..
You do look like the Joe from YOU
Wow
how a 22g cannula pierces a vessel..I can't imagine
You’re so handsome and gorgeous
👏🏻👍👍👍👏🏻
amazing
