ВИА Сельга - Звездопад(?) (Latvian Funk/Disco, 1979)

This is VIA Selga, a Latvian group who mainly were a group of session musicians who backed for Andrejs Lihtenbergs.
This is, I presume, Eolika's Falling Stars, which came out a year later, albeit in latvian.
Radio Avtomat is a channel dedicated to obscure and little known music, mainly originating in Eastern Europe and Asia. If you own the song/own the copyright rights to this song and would like the video removed please contact as soon as possible.

Where did you even find this tune? Selga had only one single released … They were highly popular and toured a lot in Latvian SR troughout during late 70‘s but later due to soviet repression band was suppressed in the press in the 80‘s. Band leader ended his life with the suicide around that time

I honestly can't remember where I found this song, maybe lurking around on russian language forums for too long at night. Really tragic story though by the sound of it :(
