The 20 demos have really impressive sound quality, they blew me away when I first heard them. It's All A Game and Feel The Pain are both biblical here.
Yeah, it makes me wonder where they were actually recorded. They sound better than most bands' demos. In fact, they're somehow better quality than the live demonstration tape they did with oasis.
@user-bd6ts9ie9e yeah, it's mental. They're probably the most unlucky band I've ever seen. The only thing that could have saved them is if they released their first album a few years later away from the baggy scene so they weren't tied in with awful bands like the Farm. It also amazes how they never got signed in 96 during the height of Brit pop because what's on the outside outside is an amazing album.
Sean McKenna's brother gave me a C90 with a lot of these tracks on, but there are some on here that I hadn't heard before. Really like the demo of Who Are You? Thanks for sharing.
@@tonykeggin8906 I remember Sian. I think their lead singer was in the year above me at Salesian High School. I grew up in Vaux Crescent, where Sean Simpson lived.

Yeah, it's mad to think they had so many songs that would go on the first album, Marshmallow lane, and various b sides written so early in 1990.
By Sean McKenna, I mean Simpson - that was his dad's name - who played rhythm guitar.
The North park show in Bootle was 1991.I'd have been there.
Nice one mate, you're very lucky to have experienced them live
It was a great day. Remember seeing Dr Phibes and the House of Wax Equations, too.
