Hi there! I forgot to mention in the video that it is a good idea to let the tissue paper dry for at least 15 minutes before putting it on with the mod podge. That may prevent the ink from smudging. If your ink does smudge, try spraying it with a clear sealer or hair spray to set the ink first.
I put the paper with the printed image into a 200-degree oven for 10 minutes and then spray it with hairspray afterward, this really helps keep the ink from running when I decoupage with it.
Oh wow!! Congratulations! I noticed this video has over 2 thousand views!! Way to go! See, I told you that you are a great teacher!! Tfs. Ps.ive watched all 5 videos and can't wait til you lost more content on this channel... 😃
Hi Sandra - Great video. Many times I'm having trouble finding napkins with a theme I like. This way I can produce anything I like. I'm going into a Bee Theme and don't have any napkins so this will bee perfect. Great instruction and friendly style. Thanks for sharing and continued success. Love PegEgg
Looks great - I have the exact same printer (it's a hand-me-down from my dad) - I seem to have a lot of trouble, though, with the bright colors running when I cover with mod podge, even after letting it sit to dry - hair spray doesn't seem to work, wrong hairspray?? Any suggestions? Mostly the reds and bright colors run.....so, I need to avoid printing with reds - and I'm working on Christmas stuff now, so it's an issue. Help??? Are the colors less likely to run with tissue paper than with napkins??
Hi Sandra, the only thing I’m confused about is when you load the paper with the tissue taped to it into the paper draw do you put it in with the tissue on top facing up or do you put it into the draw with the tissue facing down? I hope you understand what I mean. I have an hp officejet pro 8600 plus. I’m not sure when the roller or whatever it’s called grabs the paper it prints bottom or top.
Excellent tutorial… thank you so much!! ♥️♥️🇦🇺

You can support a round object on a crumpled towel while working on it.
Very helpful! Thank you! From Cheryl in AZ

I'm going to try this for dates and names on the back of a photo decoupage ornament. I am using lightweight wood pieces.

Morning, Dawn. I have the 8600 also. I put the paper I want the print on facing down. Hope this helps!
This os great. I didn't think you could use an ink jet printer.
Yup, you can!!
If using an ink jet printer to print the napkin, will the ink bleed at all using mod podge?
What clear mat finish spray do you use?
Can this work with other printers?
Does your ink run, should you let it dry for a while first.
My ink has never run, but yes, let it dry for at least 15 minutes before applying the mod podge to it.
Hi, been trying but tissue paper keeps getting jammed.
My text is smearing, even though I waited 24 hours. What can I do?
How do yo print on your tissue paper
She just explained it in the entire video.
