Married guy here. Basically all improvements and advancements of anything has to be done by you. The woman will never take any responsibility for anything. The shit that marriage has made me have to put up with has truly boggles my mind. It is not an equal partnership like they say it should be. You will be forced to give 110% while she gives maybe 20% tops (if she's a "good women") and then acts like she's giving 1000% and you're giving zero. She will give you all the love and affection you want at first, then she will turn it off and start weaponizing love, sex, affection, and attention against you. Communication and negotiations are never done in good faith on her end. And all advancement in life is solely upon you. She will act like she's living in handmaidens tale because she cannot fathom putting cloths, dishes, and laundry into machines that do the work for her. Whatever job it takes you 10 minutes to do, it will take her 4 hours, and she will act like she does it better and faster. Whether she says it or not, she is a feminist at heart. Don't think women have changed much since my brother got married back in the 1970's. After two years of going steady and living together, as soon as she got that ring on her finger, she did a complete 180 in personality. She turned into her mother who she said she hated because she was too controlling and demanding and making her father's life miserable. She became a mini me version of her mother. After 6 months of marriage my brother gave up and walked out. Of course she got everything. 1970's was beginning of modern day feminism. As much as things change they remain the same.

I have experienced most of the things you said first hand, where I would try to reason with my girlfriend and give her advices on how to act a certain way, be it around my family or myself. I had told her, what things may hurt my feelings and it seemed like she thought about those things, but in the end she just acted like she thought was right, completely ignoring my words. This unleashed a couple of arguments, to the point that to this day im not feeling comfortable. She does not seem to understand my point of view, or rather, the doesnt want to. I also experienced, that it doesnt matter if a woman is living and sleeping close to you, she wont be influenced in the way you described it, if she does not care, she will continue to not give a fuck about your opinions or routines. And theres always the classic, where you are always to blame for everything and that you should change, not her. It sucks man. And on top of that is her social circle which influences her and her desicions a lot, and it is also annoying as fuck. Life is a bitch .

When you hit the big 30, look out. That’s the age when I woke up, and realized that I am a bad bitch. And yes, I beat ‘em at that own game in the industry. In fact my co-workers became jealous of our, (my husband and I) power and financial gains. I mean when your household income is greater than your boss, there’s bound to be a rift and at least a couple of set-ups. After this tenure, I only answered to the CEO. I never had to interact with another manager.
After 20 years in the business I was awarded Natl. All-Star, Driver Of The Year by the NPTC, and the Natl. Safety Council. There were 17 recipients among some three million drivers. I was amazed at the number of women who were managers in the business.
