I understand the trying to be healthy parts but making her feel uncomfortable and getting her 2 the point where she's crying without noticing is a little too much. They should have been more gentle about it if they really wanted their daughter to be both physically and mentally healthy, because the way the parent treats her can take a big toll on the daughter’s mental health, which is just as important.
That's what I thought you can gain weight very quickly and there's nothing wrong with wanting your kid to be healthy also making her quit Orchestra to do a sport is not okay.
So for the one with the overweight one, weight loss is mostly about food. She’s already taking walks and one little walk a night isn’t going to do much. OP should stop being lazy and cook with their daughter and make healthy and filling meals. They could also go about helping her to lose weight in a much more constructive way

I’m overweight and have had body issues since I hit puberty. I suffer from PCOS (poly-cystic ovarian syndrome) which can cause excess weight gain and it makes it hard to lose weight. She is 14! She is still growing! Putting her on a diet at that age! It’s not like she’s 100lbs overweight.
Exactly! Plus extreme dieting is very dangerous for teens and can lead to extreme health problems, not to mention the possible eating disorders this could give this girl.

Dana, It seams like diet sodas have been discouraged and linked to cancer since the 70's but I've never seen real evidence of it. I drink a lot of Coke Zero. The only downside I've found is diet soda has a lot of sodium. What's your opinion overall about diet soda ? It seems like a good alternative for those of us that don't like to just drink water .
I hope the first one shows every kid that all men r not safe and u should stay safe at night and if u see someone ( a guy ) then u should run into your house and call the police so be safe and stay indoors when dark unless u r going to the store😊
