I agree with the vacuum cleaner comments. Down into Ascari was nothing but noise before they went to these cars - fast and very large - and a bit dull.
Motor sport is an odd spectator experience. One gets a glimpse of the cars moving past, and an earful of the sound, but anything could happen anywhere else on the track, and you'll never know until it's all over. I went to a GP once, and happened to see one car pass another. Going by the highlights shown in the media, this seemed to be the highlight of the race.
Well, yeah, I did see these screens, but watching the actual cars go by seemed a better idea. I was there only because someone gave me a free ticket, minutes before the race began. I was just walking past, and then I was inside. Lucky! @@f1videos594
@@f1videos594 I saw the screens, but I actually preferred the reality of seeing the cars. I went to the GP because I was going for a walk outside, and someone gave me a free ticket minutes before the race began. So suddenly, I was in!! It was at Albert Park, for the Australian GP a few years ago. Alonso won, but I really wasn't following GP racing any more. That ended when Schumacher retired. I did however see Hill, Rindt, Amon, etc. many years ago, during the Tasman championship. It was almost as good as GP racing.
It's not the sound that I think is tragic about F1. It's the fact that the cars are as long as SUVs and stupid rule changes. They are obviously not V-12s, but F1 needs to get their act together ASAP.

😄🤩Stupende emozioni, ma essere presente sul posto è tutta un'altra storia.............!!! ❤ F1, sempre nel cuore ! 🥰🏁🏎
My bad, I thought the title read pure sound.
@@shanemac1111 watch my other videos, there are also v12 v10 and v8

@@russellparratt9859 well, there are screens showing the race almost everywhere on the track, you can follow easily the race from the screens

@lewistasso8866 yes, if the cars were like the pre 2014 cars in terms of size, they would look a lot faster than this
@@f1videos594 I bet they are. I wish they did more with the microphones on the cars and elsewhere to give a better sense of this
