The original Halogen bulbs in my 2002 Lincoln Town Car are looking a little dim at night. After the success of installing LED Headlights in my wife's 2006 Honda Civic, I went to www.carid.com/ and ordered up LED Headlights for my car.
**** Here is the LED Headlight Part number I used from Carid.com: Putco® 289007 - Silver-Lux LED Conversion Kit (9007 / HB5) These include the Anti-Flicker Modules, which is highly recommended that you install with the LED Bulbs. Everything is Plug & Play.
The nice thing is the Town Car uses one bulb for both high and low beam, making it cheaper. The Anti-Flicker device is optional, but I bought a pair of them.
I haven't changed bulbs before on this car, so I took my time to get some things figured out as I go.
I'm looking to change the rest of the bulbs on the car at a future date to LED.
My next project will be trying to swap out a Windows PC motherboard, will it work????

Thanks for watching! I’ve had to replace the load resistors a few times for the tail lights. Other than that, they all still work great today! No problems, nothing blown out.

hey, Chris did your lincoln came with that decal symbol for the backlights or is it an engraving ? if its aftermarket could you tell me where to get it?
Hey Ghostglow! If your asking about the taillight lenses, the embossed logo decals is stock from the factory. I'm sure you can find some just like it at Ebay or even Amazon. Just search for 2002 Lincoln Towncar Tailights. I hope this answers your question, let me know. 🙂 Chris.

Well, mine(1999 town car has the same factory tail lights with lincoln decal( i know I'm a little late for this comment😑).
Edit:Tail lights decols are smaller on my car.

@@Superdugge, Hey Doug! The part number is Putco 289007 Silver-Lux LED Conversion Kit (9007/HB5) SKU 341704571. They have both low and high beam for each bulb. I got them as a pair from CarID website. I hope this helps!
