Agree. Tribalism is among us in America. Ironically, many want to disconnect from Africa but have taken on the natural ability to be tribal. We need to work together, no matter where the ship dropped us off in the Americas or in the Caribbeans, or if we were already here when the ship arrived (still came from Africa because of those who were among the first to leave Africa), or living on the African continent.

Have you been to Kenya? One half of the population is dirt poor. Americans can't imagine this kind of poverty. Kids go to college and can't get jobs. There is talk of taking owned land and having the church lease your land. Ruto is trying to send the country back to the stone age. As my mom said, you can't get blood from stones.
I wonder what allows so many of the population to rally for a cause with no clear leader? Do you think the clarity of the issues and simplicity of the request for accountability was enough to create this type of public engagement OR is it simply a well informed and educated generation that have never known the trapping of excess are better positioned to stand up?
