I'm teaching a few of my friends English. We are all Dominican but I used to live in the states so I'm very fluent. Often they ask me how I learned it so fast and very often I say its thanks to music, rap specifically. And its songs like this that helped me learn the most. The metaphors and word play from em has always been fantastic and I find myself reading over the lyrics of many of his songs and using them to jam out with the boys and see how much they have learned.
Yeah when i was a kid em opened my mind to a lot of possibilities with the english language, a true lyrical genius, i dont even care if its cringe or cliche 💀

When rappers and fans say they mess with his first 3 albums only I come right to this song and wonder if they have even listened to this. This is absolutely flawless. GTFO. His last two albums are so incredibly slept on. It blows my mind.

That was absolutely insane. I've been a big battle rap fan for like 16 yrs. I decypher most bars the first time i hear it. But this was such an rapid overload of wordplay and punchlines and schemes and syllables that about 2 minutes in i had to rewind every four bars to make sure i didnt miss anything. Dude had no right to snap like this
