I decided that I would not let that stop me from creating my dream space so I took matters into my own hands and create my very own DIY FAUX WALLPAPER for our pantry/laundry room wall! I found a wallpaper inspiration online and headed to the Cricut Design Space to see if I could find something that would suit my project. I choose a sunflower design from thousands of options and used my Cricut Maker 3 to bring the idea to life! Here is how to make faux wallpaper!

I have a crumbling antique scrap of lovely kitchen wallpaper from the 1940's I have wanted to replicate for our farmhouse kitchen, but I have never been quite sure how to go about making it happen. I never thought of using my Silhouette Cameo 4 to make stencils for each color of the pattern ... Well, ding dong DUH!!! 😂

Since I used stencils all over my old Victorian home rather than wallpaper, I am in awe! Sunflowers are by far my favorite flowers! I have loads of decor with them since they were the first flower as well as food in Egypt! You are awesome woman! I am in my 70's now, so I try not to get up on the ladder too high (I have almost all 10 foot ceilings). I LOVE the addition, and know you will love it for a very long time! I have been watching all of you for years, every time you post! LOVE you, Phil and your parenting skills!

As a child my mom, on a strict budget, would make pattern on painted surfaces all the time. She painted our then wooden floors with sponge dabbing every spring and we had many new patterns to look at. Congrats on thinking outside the box
