This is one of the best race tracks in the entire series! I love Koopa Cape more than any of the tracks from the mushroom, flower, and special cup. It's not as good as Maple Treeway, but it's real close. The remake in MK7 is good, but not as good as the original version.
Fun update: This track was added into wave 5 of the booster pass, and as much as the updated graphics are, it's very disappointing to see how it looks... -Track got downsized so it feels way too small and compact. -Underwater section got cut down and the spinning electric bars are gone. -Most of the original signage is missing.
I agree. And what is with Nintendo and the replacement of grey rocks. The grey rocks complemented the track so well, and now they replaced it with tan rocks that look so out of place.
This is a great hybrid of a seaside level and a "down the drain" level (the music perfectly captures that). I always loved freaking out my nephews by telling them that the electric propellers in the tunnel are instant death and they'd have to start the game over again if they touched them, so I'd always play this level for them.

I dont know, but the old mario kart games until MKWii are so much better. The opponents are more ruthless and better, compared with the new MK 8 for example. Dont get me wrong, the new MK games are good, but I miss the old games like MK Double Dash or Mario kart wii
