Came here to say this! You can read them as stand alones, but they’re SO much better when read in order! And they’re all amazing so I don’t see a reason not to read em all! They were the romances that got me into the genre ❤
I still have the Dance Of Thieves duology and I haven't gotten around to reading it yet lol. I also want to read the Red Rising Series and The Foxglove King series too. But I did read all of Abbey Jimenez's books the past 2 months and I love her writing so much so I hope you like Just For The Summer.
Red Rising is amazing I highly recommend getting the graphic audiobook to pair it with since it feels like a movie! There are sound effects, voice acting, and singing.
I have JUST finished just for the summer and it was so good. I’d give it a 10/5 if I could 🥰 I couldn’t quite get into red rising as I wanted to but I kept reading the series and I ADORE the third book morning star so much! It’s the best so far for me! So excited what your thoughts are on all of these books
I just get so happy with your videos!!! btw, I have a book rec: Ironside Academy by Jane Washington is such a good series. the first book is called Plier and it's basically about this girl who goes to a "university" that is focused on talents. there, she is forced to study how to improve herself so she can become famous. the university is recorded all the time and it's streamed for everyone- humans, alphas, omegas and all that, so it's basically a reality show, but she's part of a category (sigmas) that isn't as acknowledged as all the rest. it's a reverse harem (the first and second books aren't spicy, the third starts to get a little more spicy so the series grow in spice) and the world building isn't that good, but I seriously love that book series SO MUCH and I wish you at least gave it a go they are on kindle unlimited and unfortunately they aren't completed yet, but the next book (book 5) is going to be released in december and the author estimates that there are going to be 6/7 books in the whole series
I will definitely be doing this, it will be in my July reading wrap up video at the end of the month/around 3rd of August (once I’ve read them all this month) 🥰 I’ve got my June wrap up coming soon for the books I picked from my June TBR video first!
There’s a book called prince of thorns I haven’t read it yet but they say it’s really dark fantasy and the main character is a villain and he’s basically going to avenge his mothers and brothers death and claim his birth given rights as the next king I feel like this book would be something you’d read
I would 100% recommend reading part of your world before just for the summer!!!
