And it would be a dream if u could read his other works ‘Warbreaker’ which is a standalone with a wholesome side romance and colour magic! And ‘stormlight archives’ which is an insane journey I can’t even describe it it’s that good and his novella ‘emperors soul’ that has magic that forges souls I really hope you’ll get on the Cosmere train, it’s one heck of a ride!

I think this is easy if you read 400-page books that don't have heavy themes and not dense. ALSO - if you don't have many life responsibilities. I feel like reading this many books annually makes the stories less impactful.

100% in agreeance - ACOTAR changed my life as well. Where The Crawdads Sing is the book that got me back into reading but the ACOTAR series cemented/reinvigorated my love for reading.

Half a Soul’s second book is called Ten Thousand Stitches and that one is so good too! (I prefer Half a Soul but they’re both so good)

I agree with you that Zodiac academy is the twisted sisters best work. I've read almost all of their series now and Zodiac academy is still my favorite one. Also Dark fae was my first reverse harem romance too and I have read several more because of it.

I stand by you with Cruel Prince. Worst series I read in 2024. I agree, I would’ve loved it when I was 13 but not at 32 lol

When fish sticks and ketchup were mentioned in the first sentence of chapter 1 of The Cruel Prince I realized this book was not going to be for me, lol. I get it involves humans going to Faerie, but those particular human foods being mentioned just killed the vibe for me instantly 😅 I read on for a bit before deciding my initial impression was correct and this was not the book for me, ultimately DNFing it

Book 6 of plated prisoner was amazing! I cried I wept I laughed .. in my opinion it redeemed the series after the 4th and 5th books not being as good as the 2nd and 3rd
