Ah yes I remember when my 49ers used to have that same strategy, nothing worse than going 7-9 and missing the playoffs but also not picking in the top 10 either.

It's because the new passing mechanic really takes stats into account, and you have to be more precise with it. People don't understand how to use it, and it's funny getting a bunch of INTs online.

Practicing full pads past week 10 is 100% why Toney sat, fyi. Happens to a receiver almost every time and almost seems random which one
Stuff like that is why I have to turn off progressive fatigue. Sure players get tired over the course of the season but they don’t play less reps later in the year. The feature doesn’t lead to the results it should intend to
@@abarkins You just have to manage the reps in the weekly training. It can be a little tedious but it does work if you pay attention to it.
@@ryantapley1 Yeah u can manage it but you’ll still have players playing less later in the year (sure, to a much lesser degree w proper management), which just isn’t a thing. Snap counts do not correlate w how late in the season it is.
Also the CPU doesn’t manage it properly, so u just end up at an advantage there if u do it.
Just one of many poorly implemented system in Madden that sure u can work around, but is really just embarrassing for them.

The receivers have a meter over their head. You have to time your release of the button to be in the blue part of the meter. If you mistime the release of the button it can result in a poor throw.

I know he don’t care lol. Just hoping that will help explain why some throws are off. But he is also using Tyrod Taylor who will just miss naturally miss throws. It might also do him better to turn that setting off and go back to the old way of passing.
Screens never work in Madden. The AI in the series throughout the decades has never been programmed to pull one off because it doesn't perform downfield blocking until after the ball carrier crosses the LOS. It's the same reason QBs scrambles and outside runs are awful.

The issue wasn’t the play call it was bengal deciding he was gonna throw it to Kenny from the start of the play if you look on the other side saquon is wide open

On the weekly training. If you split reps, then starters and backups both get reps and thus both go down on stamina equally. But also get equal xp. If you do backups then more xp and stamina loss for backups, but late season means stamina gain for your starters, and thus stay on field more
The precision special passing is really nice, throws that would be interceptions all the time last year(like on outs when they’re open but the throw is way in front or behind & it gets picked) you can really place the ball where the DBs can’t get it and I’ve been loving it. Also really great on seam passes n high n low balls.

If you aren’t having fun on all madden don’t just play it because the viewers have opinions on it 😩 all pro is still a decent difficulty if it’s more enjoyable for your gameplays. All in all though this is an amazing series and I’m glad I found it haha, keep it up and I look forward to more 😅

When you get to the off-season get some mentor tags for the boost to xp. They do stack and it’ll help get some of ur guys into a better spot

From my experience, the only way not to lose momentum/separation as the offense is to RAC catch it. Unfortunately there are situations where it’s the right call and the receiver gives up position for no reason with no fight and it’s an easy pick.

How many interceptions have been thrown by Bengal and the opposing CPU QB the last 7 games or so? Its been a ton. Even in this game Cousins threw 4. Obviously it's Madden 23, and not all his fault. The amount of ints on both sides is just crazy

I’ve found a lot of success running inside zone against double A-gap idk why but most of the time a whole opens. The other times the DT sheds immediately and blows it up
