I am going to try this clever idea and thanks for getting right to the point without any drama like annoying music, props, wasting time relating your life story, etc.
I don’t know how I’ve never heard of this before. This is so helpful. I have a couple of shoes I should have done this to but I literally gave them away instead of trying to fix them.
Girl, you saved me, I was so frustraded because my new sandals got too big on the toe strap after the first use and cause me horrible blisters. The only solution I think of was cutting the excess strap an glue them together but that will definitely ruin them. I did this and worked perfectly and now they even feel more comfortable tham before. ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing this fabulous hack🎉🎉
THANK YOU!! I have the most gorgeous pair of sandals and one is too slack by 2 cm, and after taking to the shoe repair store - they claim there is nothing I can do........... until I found you on YT. Appreciate this very much.
I have a couple of sandals I ordered online that are just sitting on my shoe rack because they're loose on my toes too. I could really use this tip. I would not have been able to think of this myself. 🥰
Girrrl. I wouldn't "Sharpied' the edges of that foam so much, it's not even funny. Great job; thanks so much for sharing because I was stumped. 😩😂 Brava. 🥂🙌🏾
Jackie, I must say this is a genius hack! I could find my wedding heels only in half a size bigger and was wondering how to make it fit while also being comfortable. Used your idea and it’s perfect now. Thank you so much❤️
Thank you! Thank you! I was so worried when I got the smallest sandals (22-22.5cm) from a online store and yet it's loose for me 🤣 You are such a lifesaver!
What an ingenius idea. And here I was considering taking my shoes to a cobbler! This is much better as tbh the shoes aren't worth the cost of alteration. Besides I think this would make them even more comfortable.
This is genius! I used ur method but with gorilla glue on a pair of platform thongs/flip flops with thick straps. i was worried it wouldn't work but its perfect and makes them so much more comfy 💕
Thanks girl! I think any fabric would work as long as it’s thick enough to not totally absorb the glue because i think the glue would be uncomfortable against your skin. You can also get craft foam at a craft store that would work just as good!
Cool and very helpful ,I got espadrille shoes online sometime back and it’s too loose for me, I will try to fix it with this tricks . Thanks for sharing this
Thanks! I just got some really cute slides from Temu, and had the same problem. I've thought of a couple of potential fixes, but this is by far the best one.
So happy I found your video. Just got some shoes that are too wide on the toes so that's just perfect 😂so 👌🏻 😌 thank you. I used felt fabric and it's perfect too
My daughter has very narrow feet, so we're always looking for ways to make her shoes fit properly. You can stack the cheap inserts inside running shoes, and some other shoes. However, for sandles this is a great hack.
Love this! It helped me solve my problem! But as I went to cut up my yoga mat, I realised that in amongst the shoe packaging, small white foam pieces and balls of paper was placed in the shoes to keep its shape for transport. I ended up taking these pieces of foam packaging and used the same method. They fit perfectly and now I won’t roll my ankle. Thanks for the idea!
Cool! This wouldn't work for the type of sandal I have; they ended up being too big length wise and I don't have a yoga mat, but maybe I can try with a different material and trying to pad the backing? Either way this is a really cool and helpful video. Definitely subscribing :)
I have these exact sandlas but there is also space in the back between my heel and also I wanted to know if there was any way to get rid of the gap in the arch of the foot and the base of the sandal
Take a black colored permanent box marker pen and blacken the edges, then glue it. So the blue edges will not be seen when you sit cross legged. 😊
I am going to try this clever idea and thanks for getting right to the point without any drama like annoying music, props, wasting time relating your life story, etc.
Amen
I don’t know how I’ve never heard of this before. This is so helpful. I have a couple of shoes I should have done this to but I literally gave them away instead of trying to fix them.
wow this is exactly what I was looking for, you're brilliant.
yeah exactly same here🤩
Girl, you saved me, I was so frustraded because my new sandals got too big on the toe strap after the first use and cause me horrible blisters. The only solution I think of was cutting the excess strap an glue them together but that will definitely ruin them. I did this and worked perfectly and now they even feel more comfortable tham before. ❤❤❤ Thanks for sharing this fabulous hack🎉🎉
Thanks! Another great idea! I simply add heel pads under the top of my sandals and that works too!
Genius. I thought I was going to have to cut the actual strap shorter and try and reattach it somehow. Thank you!
THANK YOU!! I have the most gorgeous pair of sandals and one is too slack by 2 cm, and after taking to the shoe repair store - they claim there is nothing I can do........... until I found you on YT. Appreciate this very much.
This is such a genius idea! Never even thought of using a yoga mat. Love how easy this was to make. ✨💕 the shoes are soooo cute!!
I need this now , just got some Ugg and the front cross -straps are to big , now my task I think would be a little more complicated!!!
Thank you! I have this issue where my shoes would be super loose in certain places and this is dangerous with sandals. I will try your fix!
I have a couple of sandals I ordered online that are just sitting on my shoe rack because they're loose on my toes too. I could really use this tip. I would not have been able to think of this myself. 🥰
This will come in handy for when I wear heels! I always find they end up being too loose on me. Those are cute sandals!
Girrrl. I wouldn't "Sharpied' the edges of that foam so much, it's not even funny. Great job; thanks so much for sharing because I was stumped. 😩😂 Brava. 🥂🙌🏾
Something I’ve never thought about, thanks for this handy tip
Ohh we all need this! Amazing fixing loose shoes, great one and very simple 😊👍
Jackie, I must say this is a genius hack! I could find my wedding heels only in half a size bigger and was wondering how to make it fit while also being comfortable. Used your idea and it’s perfect now. Thank you so much❤️
Oh wow. That makes sense! :) will remember this tutorial when I have loose shoes in the future
Those shoes are really cute. I have a few pairs that fit me like that also. Thank you for sharing this awesome idea, I sure will be trying this out.
I just bought some cute sandals today that are a little big. This is exactly what I need to do. Thanks for the tip!!!!
Great tutorial, now i can fix my shoes that i thought would never fit for me 🤩
Thank you! Thank you! I was so worried when I got the smallest sandals (22-22.5cm) from a online store and yet it's loose for me 🤣 You are such a lifesaver!
Moleskin cut to size works too.
So simple, but really helpful!! I have a few sandals that needed a bit of help and this tip will come in handy for me!
I went to my local Daiso store and found the perfect small mat, exactly like a yoga mat, for $1.... much better than cutting up my yoga mat.
What an ingenius idea. And here I was considering taking my shoes to a cobbler! This is much better as tbh the shoes aren't worth the cost of alteration. Besides I think this would make them even more comfortable.
Wooow what a great hack !! Great vid, you’re so through in explaining and demonstrating!
Brilliant! That’s exactly what I needed! I buy shoes online and they are always loose because I have really skinny feet.
Thanks for the video 💯😀
This is brilliant. I have narrow feet and just got a pair of slides that I thought I'd have to send back. Now I'm off to attack my yoga mat. Thanks!
i needed this, i hate ordering shoes off the internet for this very reason!
Omg! I could’ve used this for my birthday shoes. This is a GEM! ✨✨
Boy are you smart! This didn't help my Temu sandal issue but it was fun to watch!
This is exactly what I needed to watch! Thank you!
I wish I could also fix loose shoes 🤣🤣.. my problem is always my feet is way too big for cute shoes... but your hack is really useful and creative...
This is genius! I used ur method but with gorilla glue on a pair of platform thongs/flip flops with thick straps. i was worried it wouldn't work but its perfect and makes them so much more comfy 💕
Thank you for the awesome tips!! I'm definitely going to try this!
I’ve never seen this tip before, you made this easy to follow too! I wonder if any fabric will work.
Thanks girl! I think any fabric would work as long as it’s thick enough to not totally absorb the glue because i think the glue would be uncomfortable against your skin. You can also get craft foam at a craft store that would work just as good!

Thanks! I just got some really cute slides from Temu, and had the same problem. I've thought of a couple of potential fixes, but this is by far the best one.
Omg!!!!! THANK YOU! I'm gonna try. I've been looking for a fix for months 😩
Flats are my friend and heels are the devil but I can’t stay away so this would be great when I do wear them. But I still love my flats 😂🌸 great video
Thank you! I’m sure this would work for any sandals or flats! Even add it to the heal!
Wow! This is such a helpful vid. Thank you for sharing this hack 🙌
Will definitely use this with one of my shoes. Btw, love your sandals and your nail polish.
This pretty neat nice idea 👏👏👏 this is my problem too probably gonna use this trick
This is awesome! Now I know what to do if the shoes are too loose which I’ve had that issue before
This will definitely come in handy! I have a few pairs that need this intervention 😂
Great tip! I’m going to do this. I have some MK sandals that are too loose and I’ve never worn them. I’ll get to now. Thanks!!!
So happy I found your video. Just got some shoes that are too wide on the toes so that's just perfect 😂so 👌🏻 😌 thank you. I used felt fabric and it's perfect too
Thank you for this! I also have the same problem with a sandals i bought from shein
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS!! YOU'RE A LIFE SAVERRRRR
Wow that’s super effective! Will save it for later ❤️❤️❤️
So help. I have this issue but my strap is clear 🙄. Thoughts, opinions and assistance greatly appreciated
My daughter has very narrow feet, so we're always looking for ways to make her shoes fit properly. You can stack the cheap inserts inside running shoes, and some other shoes. However, for sandles this is a great hack.
I have the same shoes...thank you soo much!!! This really works ! 👌👍🤍
This is helpfull. Thanks for sharing! I miss wearing heels. 😆
Mine are from shein too and very slightly too big. But a size down would have been too small.
Thanks....I got exactly wot I was looking for. Thankyou very much
This is a great idea! Instead of hot glue I think I will use Shoe Goo though.
Bro I got the exact same shoes with you. But I got feathers on it and its 39 size and I'm 38 its so loose
Will totally note this one. Yoga mat ✨
Marvelous! But what to do with strappy sandals!
Cool! This wouldn't work for the type of sandal I have; they ended up being too big length wise and I don't have a yoga mat, but maybe I can try with a different material and trying to pad the backing? Either way this is a really cool and helpful video. Definitely subscribing :)
This is a great tutorial! Unfortunately I seem to always have the opposite issue lol but maybe I can buy a little bigger and then do this!!
I have these exact sandlas but there is also space in the back between my heel and also I wanted to know if there was any way to get rid of the gap in the arch of the foot and the base of the sandal
This is helpful. I am yet to try this trick. Fingers crossed! :)
Any ideas for canvas wedges that are so heavy your heel slips out? sticky tape doesn't work
Could this work on a similar type of shoe if the back part is loose?
Could you please tell me the thickness of the mat? Mine looks too thick
Ok I definitely need to take some notes because some of my shoes really need tlc lol
Interesting...thanks for this little hack! #Handy
What else can i use instead of yoga mat?
Any kind of foam. They sell craft foam at any craft store. It’s usually for children’s crafts and would probably be by construction papwr
I've always had this problem as my feet are narrower than average, I'm just jealous I didn't think of this.😀
This is such a good idea!
Yes... Thank you
I searched this and happy I came across this video I ironically have the same exact shoe with the same problem.
Genius! RUclips saves me lotta money
What inch yoga mat did you use?
I think it was 1/4inch but it can be whatever you have on hand! As long as you don’t think it’ll be too thick for you
Thank you what a great idea!
Brilliant. Thanks
Thank you, great tip !
You saved me.. Thank You so much 😊😊
Awesome idea
Thank you so much girl😍✌️
