i just got into usc and i’ve fallen down a hole of watching youtube vids and i gotta say i loved your advice! do you know if there are any bad stereotypes surround the engineering students? i’ve heard they’re kinda introverted and exclusive so that’s the only thing kinda making me hesitant
I'm personally not into greek life, but the girls I know in sororities seem to enjoy it?? they just enacted a policy for freshmen where you can only rush your spring semester of freshman year.
hello :) idk if u will respond now but do u mind telling me about the food arrangement? For example am I allowed to cook my own food for 4 years there instead of purchasing dining cards?
Hi! Freshmen usually purchase a dining hall plan since most dorms/suites don't have full kitchens (only a microwave and mini fridge) But after freshman year, you'll likely be in an apartment with a full kitchen and won't need to purchase a dining hall plan anymore. Hope that helped!!
@@katherinehayestysm for your response :) however as a freshmen am i allowed to still cook my own foods instead of purchasing any dining hall plan (for saving money basically caused college tuition is already a lot lol)! i am fine with having only a microwave and mini fridge. like is it like compulsory to purchase dining hall plans as a freshman or i can get away with it?
It’s so terrifying that IF I get accepted in USC (I’m 14 btw) I can almost predict that I will struggle in most of the classes because since you mentioned that there’s 200+ students in one of your classes, the Professors will most likely not get to reach out to you because other students and students from their classes are reaching out to him/her. So I don’t want to be that student that’s in a line to reach out to a professor!!! and if I don’t get accepted into USC.....well there’s always University of Michigan?
Hmm, according to your situation, I strongly suggest you join a community college after graduating high School so you don't have take General Education classes in USC since tuition is pretty high per year. Community college classes are small (at most 58 students) and professor's are dying to talk to students in their office hours, so you can ask away questions and receive tons of help. Then, you are also more likely to get accepted to USC as a college transfer student, so I think this would be a great solution to you
USC is my dream school😫
please do more usc related vids :)
yeeeeee ok!!

200 in a lecture hall is not bad. Wait till you get your upper division classes. 30 to 10 students.
Edward Kim i prefer smaller classes :O
@@katherinehayes and you'll have them once you start getting your upper division classes!
Would you recommend rushing? What part of the year do you rush in?
And are sororities inclusive to people of color
