An even simpler idea is to use this check: Are you very tired?
Do they measure o2 level or lactic acid?? Seems vague

so pretty much is a oxymeter?
Lactic acid intervenes in 400, 800 and 1500m, much less in longer distances...
Or you know... train and know your limits?
like its that easy, obviously you dont train that hard
