  • I really like this mower. Takes some time to get used to it and I really needed to be more careful around expensive obstacles... I won't spoil it... be sure to watch!

I should own the Z412 KW 48 in a few days, I used to operate a 54" Everide Hornet, when i first got going i almost hit the corner of my shed in a similar panic mode, I was told if i ever get in that situation again just LET GO of the handles, yep it just stops,You are gunna have a few of these moments before you get pro and it works.

Thanks for the encouragement. These machines are amazing but require careful piloting. Thanks for watching and good luck with your new machine

Hi Tim! That’s a fine zero turn you have there! And it looks like you quickly got the hang of it. What a time saver and it looks like a lot of fun! Bummer about your septic tank cover. Oh well, live and learn. I enjoyed the first person video. Felt like I was riding along with you.

Hi Martin! Yeah it is a beast, you can really feel the power. I still have to replace the septic cover, LOL. Lesson learned! Thanks for watching.

I am jealous of your zero-turn! Because I am lazy, decades ago I stopped using a string trimmer and I just mulch the areas I cannot reach with the mower. I am looking forward to your coming adventures! Mike from SW Ohio

Hi Mike! Yeah, I'm a bit lazy too and also don't try to over-do things. I messed up my knee trying to over exert myself.. so I need to slow down a bit more and just do what I can. The Zero turn sure does speed things up while preserving my knees. I've spent some time in Ohio on projects (Dayton and Columbus). Gorgeous state! Take care.

Congrats on your new zero-turn mower. I only sat on a zero turn once and it took some time to figure out how to maneuver the machine but I liked the cut but I didn't like how low to the ground I sat nor did I like the dirt flung in and around the operator. Then again, dust and debris are going to be a challenge regardless what type machine one uses. Good seeing your again, Pilgrim. Enjoy the calm weather and take advantage of the sunny days. Full-watch 👍🏽🙂 4/4/22

Hey, Houndsman! Yeah, and when the wind kicks up the grass chute is close enough to shower you with debris. All in all I'll have to improve my steering skills quite a bit. Good to hear from you and I will definitely enjoy what the good Lord provides! Take care, friend!

I’m sure you know by now that you can use your right foot to slightly raise the deck (don’t have to lock it down) when you go across objects like your septic tank covers or roots and then ease it back down after you’ve crossed those impediments. Thanks for the video.

Hi 0MM! Yes, great tip that I will use when necessary. I was trying to avoid the septic cover entirely but mis-judged how close it was.
