- Herbs + Updates. Today we are catching you up to speed on some of our life events you have asked us about. And after we scoop the kids up to go to the farmers market to buy herbs for our garden. Since we aren't at the farm as of yet, potted herbs at the house will have to do.
Meet our family. We are Dustin and Burton, gay dads, and proud parents of our twins, Stone and Holland Buffaloe. We created our family vlog, "Raising Buffaloes," as a resource for all. We are an All American Family, who happen to be gay parents through surrogacy. On our channel, you will see videos of our family adventures and grasp what it's like to raise kids in the south as a gay couple. Our dad vlog captures our parenting and fatherhood journey, but you'll find much more. We open up about our coming out journey, relationship and marriage tips, and how to live life with a little more laughter. We use our voice to shed light and awareness to the LGBTQ+ community, gay rights equality, and opening eyes to others. Family has many definitions, and this is ours. We hope you subscribe and follow along our journey of raising our little Buffaloes.

Hi Buffaloes! I'm back from my training. Sorry I had to be offline for months. Anyway, I will give my best effort to keep this short. Haha. First, I wanna THANK YOU for this update. Seriously, how ever simple or few your updates are, you deserve to be appreciated, guys, considering how incredibly busy you are. Letting us in to your daily life is already a huge favor you're doing us. I'm not on IG but I think I'm gonna sign up coz I can't get enough you.
PS: Holland as a princess is so pretty and sweet as always! And it's such a joy seeing Stone enjoy childhood eating those flowers off a tree. 😂 Please don't get tired of your fans, Buffaloes. We love you.

I rememeber going to the spice store with my dad when I was little, he loves to cook and would make Gordan Ramsey smile. Herbs and spices time with daddy(s)
Planting herbs and flowers in the gardens, when we got home and I felt so proud because I got to help pick out what we were going to plant. I have a lot of brain injuries and damage and lost so much of my memoires but then I see your videos and it helps me remember.
I just sat here and started crying, happy tears. Thank you for helping me remember, it means more than you know. Much love to all of you, can't wait to see how lovely your garden looks!

Hi guys. Thanks for the update. Good to hear about the farm project - sounds exciting so looking forward to seeing what you do there. That looked like more than a shower! Handy that you didn't have to water in those herbs. Two days ago we woke up to snow and the next day bright sunshine and 45 degrees centigrade (113F) in our conservatory. Mad UK weather. So as a grandma, I see Holland as the social twin and Stone as a deep thinker and observer. Extrovert and Introvert perhaps? My granddaughters are different in that way. My little thinker kind of gets run over by the social one, but when my little thinker finally speaks, some profound observations about life come out of her little mouth. The other one is so outgoing that she is going to be president someday! She walks right up to strangers and wants to shake their hands! Gotta keep an eye out for her! I enjoy your family and may your children be blessed.

This week was full of struggles and tears for me.I lost one of my family members,got fractures now my brothers are tested covid positive.There was no hope but your smiles made me feel alive once again..There is definitely a ray of light at the end of this darkest tunnel.Lots of love😘😘😘

It's a sight to see getting the kids involve in your herb planting activity. You guys really know how to make things fun & at the same time educational by giving bits & pieces of information in what you do, what herb to choose & even asking what kind of cupcake they like w/out assuming what they will choose. Thanks for the updates! Yahoo! Looks like you are moving right along. Good luck with your self-inhabited apartment dealings with City Officials. They have an important job to do, but when they shift into 'protect zoning mode' they can seem difficult. It's just their job and it's important. Still.... this country is 100 years behind the Europeans in shaping zoning which allows families to 'age in place' and thrive as a family. That causes disruptions in lives and causes families to move apart not together. It impacts how we utilize energy and how we build and keep families thriving.

Even though I would love to see more about your guys family, and life. I know from the time it takes to edit, and up load the videos we see. That is not realistaly possible. I mean you both work and the kids are at an age. That they need you to be there for them.
Also it makes it more exciting when you do have a new one. So even though people mean well. They need to stop and think would they have the time to load videos like they are asking you, and have a life to.
I can't believe the kids are such good eaters. They watch you both and then mimic the both of you. It is so good to see you teaching them that way. Setting good eating habits at a young age it th e key to a healthy life. Good job guys.👍🤗
