And then he Kidnaps Moon. Then steals Star's wand and uses it for evil. Has Marco NOT learned anything from all the times that Star had to fight Ludo and Toffee? No he has not. Because he KIDNAPS my all time favorite charecter. 😡😡😡😡😡😡 and i AM NOT OKAY WITH THAT. Of course River and Star are trying their damn best to get Moon back from the evil cluches of Marco.

While the animation with a few movements and the lipsyncing wasn't perfect, the lighting and the effects were just beautiful!

I also like some minor details like when Marco transformed the wand, it had the mole and his eye color changed to blue

Funny other thing... This is going to echo in the back of my head forever when I watch anything tangled... "bE vErY aFrAiD" which is just an episode title but uh its also just iconic in my brain too, so...
I prefer the animatic because of the mouths but on the other hand good job!

The animatic has much more detail (as far as the emotions in the characters), but the lighting, effects, and shadows in the animation are so beautiful!
@@ecstasy.dreamer the effects are obviously just pasted in and are extremely tacky in my opinion. I believe it would've been better if they just watched a few tutorials and handrawn it instead.
@@nojaybay But they are still really beautiful and go with what is happening. Plus the shadow you got to give credit for. It's one detail that the animatic lacked and i think it held a dramatic feel. :)

The lighting and shadows were incredible holy heck! As well as the special effects when Marco transformed the wand. The little lights above the wand that were timed perfectly to the music too! As someone who struggles with understanding shadows and light I applaud you and your skill with them!

I have no idea whats going on bht i just want to say marco without magic is ridiculously underrated, he's not only ridiculously physically strong but has learned so many different combat techniques that im sure ge could beat a small normal human army on his own and im sure with magic he could easily destroy a country

My interpretation of this is that Marco's parents died because of something that happened with the Queen. He got furious and kidnapped her and he's explaining his reasons here or whatever.
Edit: Either that or Ponyhead asked him for some drama and this happened...
You can see when Marco stabs the photo of both His and Star's Beach day, that his family photo has the faces of his parents torn off.
This implies they are dead, killed by something Marco blames the Queen for... That may actually have been her fault.
I would have liked that to here’s my idea
Marco returns to his home only to find it destroyed and later Jenny his ex tells monsters showed up tearing the town apart looking for Star. Marco and Star rush to his house only to discover his parents dead and his mom was pregnant. They then go to tell Queen Moon what happened and she explains that she realizes that this was the monsters sending a message to both of them. Marco becomes enraged and attacks Moon and gets sent back to Earth where he finds his pair Dimensional Scissors and uses them to kidnap Moon and steal the Magic Wand. With it and the human survivors using Moon as bit they plan a trap for the kingdom of Munny
That was fantastic, Logan Redgrave. The color and animation is almost exactly like the show. Is there a chance you'll do it again with the Monster song from the Frozen Broadway show featuring Eclipsa?

I REALLY want marco to become the bad guy for a little bit at least, he spend years in that one dimension and he can take out most monsters with his physical ability alone, if he got the power of the wand and was as strong as "serious star" he would be one hard fight. Literally everyone against him. He could even break out of romulus crystal if he still had the wand I beat. This is a really good story I wish there was a full fan fiction or comic about this

Your lip syncing really needs help. A good rule of thumb would be having a map if all the Characters mouth with all the sounds needed as well as some in between frames so the mouths movements don't look so choppy. I can tell you really tried in this project and most of it looks great but other parts look sloppy and I feel it I lazynees. My teacher always tells me to do everything like it's going to be seen by a business man and I doubt you would show some of these parts to a business man and be fully proud. I know animation is hard and takes extra time but really looking over everything and making sure it's perfect is something I would suggest. I found this nice and adorable and I can tell you really put effort in. Keep working hard!

I keep coming back to these cause the concept is so hype. Of all the characters whom had potential, I still think Marco had the most in terms of battle potential. He's a quick study and a martial artist, if the dude learned magic legitimately, but then got some sort of ambitious vengeance drive, he'd be scarier than the entire magic council + Star.
Like imagine Marco dipping down because he's so distraught at losing his family. SCARY.

I can't stop coming back here... even 4 years have passed i can't stop thinking that the final was sooo forced... i wish that star vs the forces of evil could had more seasons..😢😢
The fire effects were really well done! It added a lot of impact to some of the scenes that I got chills. I think the next step is to practice lip syncing, but overall, this is really well done!

It seems like Marco lost everything his home and his family and he blames Star for it most likely they were casualties in one of Star's battles caught in the cross fire or hit by a stray magic blast she carelessly used and it destroyed not only their house but them as well and Marco more than likely witnessed it so he probably planning to make Star watch as he uses her wand to destroy her mother probably because Moon did not hold Star responsible for what he lost.
