I still can't get over the fact that you only paid $1 for each of those cars! No die-cast collector in their right mind could pass that up! And turning that treadmill into a race track was an ingenious idea!
I gotta go with #43! This is my first decide you ride that in able to get into and I am absolutely pumped! Been watching you for years and I’m so happy that I found your channel! Can’t wait to see the real races!
Totally awesome how you were able to get all those cars, and clever use of the treadmill; probably the closest equivalent on how we'd be able to race 1/24 scale (and I'd even say 1/18 ones) cars unless there was the ability to make giant Hot Wheels-esque tracks. I actually bought some of the ones shown in this video a while ago, one of the #4 cars, driven by Ernie Irvan, the #1 Majik Market of Rick Mast, the #30 Pennzoil of Michael Waltrip, one of the unsponsored #25 cars and one of the #33 cars (though strangely it's unsponsored too).
Just a idea/suggestion/question? First off do the cars that "steer", do their steering wheels actually control how the wheels turn? If so, can you tape them off to give the car a straight line run? Secondly would you still get the movements like the other cars without steering? Or would they become worse or better? Basically "lock" the front axles to keep them from turning left or right. Just a small idea.💡💡 Thanks for your dedication and your efforts in Die-Cast racing 🏁 and collecting! God Bless and Take Care!
Great suggestion. We may try something like that in the future. The suspension and steering linkages are plastic so not sure how straight they will go even with tape.
Okay after seeing the Steering that the #6 car did @ the 27:50 mark. Wow, that was epically smooth! I gotta say once again, I wasn't sure about treadmill racing but you really did a phenomenal job changing my mind and making this look awesome. That #6 cars run is just amazing!
I couldn't pick a car. The competition looks pretty stiff for this one, and as always, I can't wait for race day! However!!!! I would love to see a car with steering run backwards just to see how that goes. If it goes well, maybe do a single race with 3 cars with steering running backwards for some bonus footage.
I’ll go with #24! Also I wonder if the steering cars could actually perform well with a slower treadmill speed? If so, maybe there could be a separate event for them like how there’s 2 events for plastic and rubber tire hot wheels.
I liked you guys at hotwheels but now with these larger cars on treadmills?? This is awsome!!!!! can we maybe see some 1/32 scale diecast truck racing?
I am amazed that you have such an obscure car in that #18 Melling ford. Greg Trammell drove that car in what is now the ARCA series back in the early 1990s. Yes, I had to google that one.
Initially I wasn't actually sure about "treadmill racing", but once again you showed me just how fun the most bizarre ideas can be. Some of these cars had a smooth ride while others as you said 👻, "had a shake and shimmy" to them. Now that the qualifying has been done, I am actually really looking forward to the event/race. Your imagination is crazy fun! I would however love to see a gravity downhill race with these cars. Maybe on the track you used for the pull backs? Great video though as always!
I'm glad you said you'd like to see a gravity race with these cars. Because I am currently in the process of doing it in my backyard. I tried before but things didn't go well. I build my own cars fron hartyplank and or wood. I'm hoping to make a 100 yard long ×2 ft wide track. I use roller skate wheels on my cars. You should see them things fly.

Not sure who created treadmill racing but it sure is fun!👻👍

A great use for the 1/24s, I have to go get a treadmill. Love this action! DrGusGreenfield approved!
I'll root for the #6! I was impressed that a car with steering could stay on the track like that.

I pick the 2 because of that smooth center ride.
