- While the old man was up in Central Florida for Thanksgiving, I took him for a day of fishing up on the St. John's River for some slab crappie!

Great to see you put out another video, Brent. Love watching you and your dad fish together. Those suckers sure are dark and pretty in Florida.
St. John’s been on fire for the past couple of weeks for them Specks. I’m usually in the portion of the St John’s with Lake Monroe to the North and Lake Jesup to the South. Nice videos as always
That’s awesome to hear! I need to try that area of the river as I’ve never been.
It’s that time of the year. The bad thing is it has to get cold. 🥶. DAMN IT MAN !
Cool fishery
Not only is this a great channel with good quality fishing, but the man knows a good hockey team when he sees one. Let's Go Bolts ⚡⚡
GO BOLTS! ⚡️
Glad you’re back!!
They have that nice color to’em to. Nice size specks.
Great video
Go bolts!
Where can I get a couple of those pulling poles that you use?
Do you like to fish upwind or downwind side better?
Y'all killing me 😭
Hey Brent, just curious as to what cameras you use for your videos, great content, have a Blessed Day
I've actually got a video coming out soon talking about my camera gear, but primarily I'm using a couple GoPro Hero 11's. Thank you so much for watching!
Did u catch the grass shrimp right there? I don’t imagine you bought em around here.
Hey Brent any predictions on how the withlacoochee in floral city area will be this season after the flooding and last years spraying? Thanks !
That's a great question! I'm going to be poking around the area seeing what the bite is like now that the water levels are back down. My worry is all that water may have screwed things up for the bite this season, but only time will tell. I'll have a video up soon when I get out there, though!
We have some jam up spots from Nobleton up to Orange state and all the vegetation was wiped out and the over hanging trees from the hurricanes when we went few weeks ago 😭
Around Astor?
About the second time you beat that pole on the side of the boat id push you in the water 😂
And you would have a very cold swim back to the boat ramp 🤣
Nice..What de hookin tool is that??

When was this? That area went off good a month ago than turned off. I was working pads around Dexter and woodruff today got a few decent ones but no tanks like those.
About a week and a half ago
Appreciate it I’m making coffee and headed out in a bit. Thanks for the great video; family and fishing.
I didn’t catch a lot but the ones I brought in were tanks.
That’s what I’m talking about!
Wow, thought you quit fishing
I’ll quit when I’m dead 🎣
@ Well it sure seems like you stoped making video’s?
I get out when I can, but work and life get in the way sometimes. I’ll have more content coming though!
Where do you get that weed puller?
We make them ourselves. It’s just a pool pole with a piece of angled metal at the end
Do you use braided line?
Not me personally. Typically stick to a 6lb monofilament
