If space(ie "continental drift") was an issue at all, then you also have the issue that the earth is nowhere near where it was at that point in time. If you popped into the same space at a different time, you'd be billions of miles from the solar system, let alone the earth, let alone the proper continent, drifting or not.
Oh my god. I just watched the movie. It’s good. It reminds me of the Big Bang theory when they say in raiders of the most arc Indiana Jones makes no difference. In this movie the Nazi would go back to the battle of Syracuse be killed. Indiana Jones makes no difference.
Just saw it at the cinema, loved it. Surprised how good it was and how active Harrison was in it considering his age. Loved phoebe waller bridge's character she was fun for sure.
@@thatemocat Dude the previous women in the other films that tag along with Indi were boring af, they had the personality of a lamp shade... At least Phoebes character had personality and humour to her.

By right, Indiana Jones can not die since he drank 'the water of life' in Indiana Jones sequel 3. He (Indiana Jones) can only stays old for many years to come...
Continental shift has NOTHING to do with the dial and what happened. The continents haven't shifted much in the last 2000 years so why was that even mentioned??
A good review, but please indulge me. 1. The parade was to welcome home the Apollo 2 Mission. (Apollo 2-6 was unmanned) (perhaps a paradox?) 2. Who picked up the hat from the clothes line? ( Mutt - brought back by Wombat?) Hmmm.... ❤❤❤❤ 😊
It’s just to tell us that he’s still the Indiana Jones we know, he’s still going on adventures and stuff. It’s just like the “And they lived happily after” at the end of stories
I agree. I grew up with Indiana Joes movies. Watched the first two back to back in London way back in the summer of 1984. I think the original three are better, but this last episode was still very good.
Actually not as bad as I thought it would be. Still won't spend a penny on it. Watched it online. Dammit wanna see it in theaters but will not (FFF YOU KENNEDY)!!!!
This type of thinking is part of the reason that an actually good movie struggled at the box office. They aren't making Indy comics, figured got canceled..Kathleen also had a hand in the MANDALORIAN, yet I bet you ate that shit up.
Someone should have said "Spoiler Alert", but, as I am seeing this for the first time on FX -- well, I see a lot of wonderful parts, and parts that are DEFINITELY Indy. What wrecked the movie for me was all the bloated out commercials that FX insisted on having.
do shia laboughfs character spinoff have him contiune his fathers legacy and shortround carry out his i guess u can call indi as his adopted dad legacy as well
Really enjoyable movie. Great actors, Indiana Jones has come back. I was missing 90s exciting adventure movies that didn't require blood shed to 'attract' the audience. That said, SPOILER I saw a couple or three times in which the main characters would have been clearly shot in front of the villains, and the villains refrained because they did not want to shoot. However they shoot random characters. There were also a couple or three times in which I saw needlessly cruel / bad stereotype behaviour, one from the girl, one from the kid, even one from Indiana Jones. Incidentally a close friend is German - I'm not - I wonder what she'd think of the movie. Bringing Nazis back as the enemy, again. Finally, I was kind of disappointed that the main antagonists were not captured at the end by the very Julius Caesar - he won at the Siege of Syracuse. I would have been a 'big fish' captured by an even bigger fish. I still have the doubt of who Indiana's son is.. We see Basil being older than Indi at first, in the second flashback, Indi looks older while Basil looks the same, and that's confusing.
An ending to stop the making of these movies and to finish off the series: to leave Indy in the past while he slowly succumbs to his injury. That would be a tragic ending, but happy they did not kill him off.
How did the main bad guy survive being knocked of a train at full speed by his face and not even a scratch and and pretending not to know indi then suddenly remembers everyone
Quit your complaining. All they did that would be progressive would be a leading woman such as Phoebe Waller-Bridge's character who had many great excuses to be as courageous and straightforward as Indy would have been, especially due to her father.
Ah yes. A Disney+ show with the insufferable Wombat. That sounds like it would be canceled by the end of the first season. I would say reboot it with a younger a actor, but Hollywood has run out of new and good ideas.
How do you explain that voller does not remember indi and is not as old as him. Is he the son of the guy from the train? And how did archamedis have a wrist watch in his tomb? He gave it back. How does the Romans know what a Dragon is? And why would there first reaction be to attack it that part was pretty stupied.
@@arturogonzalez-barrios8206 not true. Voller got punched by him oke that was een instant but after that he held a gun to Indy at the roof of the train and got the empty bag from him before getting hit.

Am I the only one who doesn’t get how Indy’s back in New York, even though he’s wanted for murder?
The Antikythera mechanism is actually an orrery, a clockwork-like planetarium model of the solar system.

He can’t die as long as he doesn’t leave the temple where he found the grail; that’s also why his dad died too.
The rule was if he stayed in the temple, he left. This is why Dad still died eventually.
But he crossed the seal.
