@@giacomojamesPunkRockHeadReact if i had to pick its probably still life. that album just has so much emotion attached to it. but in all honesty its hard to pick with opeth when they have multiple 10/10 albums

Black Rose Immortal è una traccia dell'album "Morningrise" del 1996, ma se ricordo bene, sarebbe dovuta essere presente nel precedente album, "Orchid" del 1995. Ciò non è avvenuto per la lunghezza dello stesso album. Il bassista che ha suonato in questi due primi album è Johan De Farfalla, che ha lasciato il gruppo dopo i tour a supporto di Morningrise. Questi due album sono personalmente tra i miei preferiti, presentano un miscuglio di influenze dal black metal e dagli Iron Maiden riguardo alla sinergia tra ritmiche e melodie, queste spesso scritte in contrappunto, e con un'atmosfera più "folkloristica". Dal successivo "My Arms, Your Hearse" del 1998 gli Opeth incorporarono invece sonorità più marcatamente rock
