Hello Alex. I love your videos. For years I have studied the world looking for the place that most fits my hopes for a place to retire. I currently live in Boston, USA. It's very nice. BUT, after all my searching I decided that Gozo was the place for me. Your videos are full of the information I need. Thanks for all your hard work. You are a great ambassador for your beautiful country.
Dear Alex, your videos are always very interesting and I follow them with pleasure. As I told you, I'm pensioner and I live in Gozo, in Ghajnsielem, and there are no words to describe how amazing, pleasant and peaceful is this small island, with only Victoria (Rabat) where you could find a lot of traffic and people but, also, a lot of services...! If you are planning to come to Gozo for a few days, it would be a pleasure to meet you in person... Have a good day and best wishes 👋
Hi Alex, even though I am a Maltese person living in Australia, I enjoy your RUclips videos. You keep up the good work that you are doing and keep showing me Malta that when living there i did not get to see as I was still a child. I came from Mosta. ❤❤
You mentioned Santa Maria Estates, but we love Mellieha near the sea. If you are a retired nature lover, who likes to also have access to car free amenities (sandy beach, gym, shopping) this is the place for you. We can walk east to hike with absolutely no one around, to a small sand beach with few people. We hike up the hill to get our groceries and get our cardio. The only downside is going anywhere else takes a long time.
I spent two days in Malta. I was staying in Xemxia. After 5-10 minutes I got off the bus in Sliema, the air pollution gave me a headache. Since the wind blows from west to east, I suggest you to find a place for living at the west edge of the island. Thus you get the cleanest air possible and you won't wake up with headaches every morning.
Yay, I'm glad this is up! I remember you telling me when we met that you should do this video and I completely agreed with you. Obviously, happy to see the mention for Mosta. It's so beautiful there and really well connected. I think for single people, like me, it's a great place to be because there are a lot of bars and restaurants but you're only a half hour bus ride from Valletta/Sliema. And it's a great place to meet locals! You know, for a second I thought you weren't going to mention Żurrieq and I said, "How could he not mention Żurrieq? He loves it there." Glad you did in the end. I just got back in the US but I'm already missing Malta 😭 Can't wait to go back - maybe this time for good!
Thank you for this great video. Can you advise on the easiest way to find out where are the most recent apartment developments / recently built buildings (ie anything more efficient than going through real estate agents websites?)
B'kara is a central area too close to all amenities .Supermarkets and all sorts of shops .Including take aways and restaurants. Rent here between €800 and €1,000 .You can find also places in quiet areas and still close to all amenities.
Hey Alex, love your videos! We are moving to Malta from the UK and your information is so gratefully received so thank you. We have secured a place in Siggiewi, is this a nice place to live? X
I started living with work in Valletta and then moved to Sliema, Tower Road. Loved my apartment there but it was very busy with tourist. I also loved living in Rabat as I loved the old house and in winter was amazing. Now renovating an old house in Gozo as started to find Malta has become too overbuilt and being flooded with tourists.
Hu Alex! What about living in Valletta? If you live in Marsascala are busses available to get around. I like the Pretty Bay area. We want to come for 2 months in January and February.
Hey Alex, I really like your videos. Thanks. Keep it going. I am about to get offer from KPMG Malta. I will be getting around 43000 euro. How much tax I need to pay? What will be my net salary? I will live single in Malta. How much Euro i can save with average life style?
I live in sliema but in Hawaii right now l left France came to Hawaii and sliema is a peaceful city good job for doing this video so people like me know these good places good job alex
Sliema and Gzira are the worst ever, overcrowded af. Madliena is absolutely not the poshest area of Malta, it's Wardija. Qormi and Hamrun are dirty and unsafe. Best areas for me for a decent budget are St Paul's Bay, Xemxija and Armier. I don't know the three cities enough to comment but they look decent too. The real gem remains Gozo though. Coming from someone who lived in Naxxar, St Julian's, Pieta, Hamrun and St Paul's Bay. Marsaskala is so far away from being the next Sliema, fortunately so, all coastal cities have promenades, that doesn't make them the next Sliema 😅
I want to get a job / if you can help me to go it will be of great benefit / I am telling you this reason / because we do not have much money from Bangladesh High Commission / for this we cannot go as a normal family.

Tourists like Sliema so its a very noisy place. Not for families with young children. We Maltese wouldn't expose our kids to certain things that go on there.Plus everything is overpriced cost of living in every aspect is high.
GOOD LIST & VERY WELL DELIVERED 🏢 ⛵ 🏫 😊 All nice cities/villages and at the end is what/where one can a€€ord. Unless I win the lotto, I'm still saving to buy a property in over populated 🌎 & beautiful St Paul's Bay area ⛱️ - I like to be pickled with salty air 🌬️🧂 😅😂. Thanks Alex 👏. Cheers 👍🇲🇹❤️🇪🇺

Beautiful information

What’s your opinion about central part of the island like birkirkara or Balzan?
Read my comment B'kara and Balzan are close.
Balzan
@@AlexinMalta yes B'kara ,Balzan and Lija are adjoining each other.
Alex, St Julian is lovely where I live there
Depends on the area of St Julians, it can be amazing yes (as long as you have a parking space)

What about Kalkara?
Its beautiful
but what is the bocci like?
We are coming back soon 🎉
YEEEEEEEEEEEEY 😍
marsaskala is the best
I love it
Another great video! When you do a Gozo video: please consider doing a review of the beaches and swimming areas. 😘
Consider it done ❤️
There is an expiry for each and everything
Exactly
I want to throw Rabat into the mix! For people reliant on buses, I find it's better to be at a bus terminus and Rabat is very well connected
Thats true. Thanks for commenting

Alex, nice video. With Gozo, can you do videos about retirement, employment, renting, and investment lifestyle.
hello bro how are you
All good, u ?
why not use a map?
Next time :)
Can anyone here from Malta give me an idea of how much an experienced full Caregiver earn in an Elderly care home...?

Help yourself first so people can help you. Playing the miserable card no one will help. Show effort and opportunities will come.
MysticScapes gave you a good advice🫶🏼
Stay in bloody Bangladesh . Malta is over populated. When I visited my family in Malta I can’t find parking in Zurrieq.
