Thank you so much for this. Earlier I had a game where we were being completely stomped the entire match. They had huge level advantages over us and my teammates kept trying to fight them pointlessly. They even invaded our farm to prevent us from leveling up. It was disastrous and I was getting tilted. But I stepped back and took a few seconds. I noticed the enemy team was pushing regieleki. So I took my team down to beat the bottom objective while they scored into our already very weakened goal zone, so they couldn’t score much. It took a bit, but once the enemy team headed to bottom we were able to edge them out in the team fight. At the ray fight, we coordinated with each other very well and managed to steal ray. Because of their huge early advantage, we still lost, but it ended up going from hundreds of points behind to a mere 8 point difference
@@Warlord_Megatron You’re right that I phrased it badly. But the point was that everybody understood to head to bottom lane, and played their roles right during ray(which is rare for an entire team to pull off in solo queue)
Playing Surf + Telekinesis Slowbro when losing is the best case scenario. Enemies tend to get overaggressive/overextend when they're on the lead and its very easy to punish them with both Telekinesis and Slowbro's unite move
I really love how you even included every error you made in the game, basically saying it’s not a bad play when done right, but you were in a position where you needed a bit of luck because of your end game play

Your videos are excellent. This guide is exactly how I approach the game as well. A lot of this applies even if you're not behind and you're just even. Playing it safe, farming well and realizing the last 2 minutes matter the most means you won't waste your time and resources trying to fight for objectives that aren't actually all that valuable and are only really there as a "win more" thing, they're only safe to take if uncontested, they're not worth dying for
I think it’s worth mentioning that if you’re double stacking like an attack weight and an aeos cookie, dying for stacks becomes more reasonable in my opinion otherwise you have 2 useless items
This video is absolutely amazing! Awesome job putting this vital information together! I honestly feel the Mewtwo should have scored with you at the end. There was barely any time left, and not many of your team left alive to benefit from Rayquaza, so you made the right play to score instead of ripping Rayquaza in my opinion.
Gotta disagree here. Your risk/ reward was definitely worse making that play. You were liable to lose the game to the worst player on the enemy team if he had been KOed super early in the previous fight and respawned in time while you scored without shield. Plus, 30 seconds is enough time for multiple team mates to rip Ray for the guarantee score shield, which would guarantee at least 200 points instead of the 160 or so you luckily pulled off. Overall, though, you're right about the firm decision making you have to make as an individual in moments like these, but it's also good to reflect where even small adjustments can be made to raise your chances of success. Thanks for the educational video, it's people like you that bring down the percentage of some of the, I'll say less thoughtful, players in the game. 😅 Cheers and good luck in your games as well 👍
@@SSZero So normally I would agree that it is better to beat Rayq than to score points when you have the opportunity. But this situation is a bit different. The enemy team was completely wiped out, so there was no chance anyone could stop them from scoring. There was not that much time left on the clock, so it was not a good idea in my opinion to waste time with defeating Rayquaza then trying to run to the base to score (which by that time, the enemy would be alive again to try to prevent them from scoring). The time remaining was the deciding factor in this situation.
@@jaysayspidey4013The enemies respawn timers were pretty long so they probably have enough time to rip ray together and score just as the enemies respawn. But I also think that the most optimal play is to score instead of ripping ray as their DPS might not be enough for them to rip ray fast enough and score.
Thanks for this guide. There's usually a good cycle for playing catch up. It has worked for me multiple times. 1. Farm or find wild pokemon 2. (Optional) go for objectives if possible 3. If there's a Mewtwo on the opposing team. Praying won't help, you're done for

Ray ripping can also be done to have the enemies or you make a mistake. Players aren’t very smart. Speaking from experience, if they see Ray being ripped they’ll panic and make a hasty decision that usually ends badly. This is a very risky play so if you aren’t confident of your last hit ability, I don’t recommend it. However if you’re losing super hard, like 1 goal at the 7 minute mark and 500 points in your home goal at 4 minutes… just rip Ray dude, you’re not winning that team fight.

Great content! I have been enjoying your tips and they have definitely helped me climb faster. I couldn't help but notice you picking Tyranitar, despite always recommending pokemon that spike early. Could you explain your thought process behind the Tyranitar pick? Is it about your team comp having Comfey and stuff like that? While you are at it, you have made a lot of beginner/intermediate friendly guides, however a guide on team comps would be nice as well! Keep up the good content!
Honestly, I picked Ttar because I needed a gameplay where I was playing from behind 😅😅 it is inevitable to be losing with him. This channel is designed for beginner / intermediate. The best way to learn 5 stack, pro game strategies is to watch and analyse the pro players!
A weird tip i would give is if you've been doing well and have several KOs but haven't died much I would try to die around 3:00 just to reset your death timer, that way if you do die during Rayquaza fight you won't be out for as long. You can only do this if you already farmed up your Unite move and levels or if you have enough time to do that before 2:00
@@UniteClimbing i said it was a weird tip, I rarely do it but sometimes it saves me having like 40 seconds death timer at Ray, you can't guarantee you won't die at Ray especially as Defender

16:03 Unite Climbing: "Some big skill moves there." Me: "I just see Mewtwo X+Comfey being broken as usual." For real though thanks for the tips. I generally don't even try to team with people that just feed the enemy team exp. Even when I try to level up to combat against the enemy team a toxic opponent just spams the "Check it Out!" quick chat. I would say that the gameplay example would make the showcase kind of moot since you had a Mewtwo and Comfey on the team but ofc you did say at the start of having the assumption Mewtwo isn't broken. Already rough to climb with friends as others got Mewtwo X early and start to exploit Comfey with Mewtwo.
