Now, that you mention, I don't see as many collabs between the two groups as there was before.
Marine had a off collab with Himawari and 2 other vtubers yesterday.
now that both agencies have grown so large, it's easier to collab within themselves and set their schedules for it. Also, not to forget that certain pure 'fans' do not like one or the other so it's safer to just not collab like that. There's just a few factors that coincide which stacks up where it's just better to collab within themselves

@@killerbait8240 Hololive becoming more harder to collab with other because of their own "idol image" that can cause double edge sword to themselves. But heck... I'm not even so sure myself. It could be that they are just too busy with their own schedules and not to mention this year situation (covid) also didn't help.
@@killerbait8240 Kanae can collab with them but Kanae's circle of friends outside Nijisanji are mostly APEX players so it's unlikely.

@@Jurico_Noes Bonti Cimong was referring to Aqua. She's improved massively. She recently reached Elite/VIP in Smash with her *weaker* character, Cloud, because she said she would reach it with him first, and because she thinks he's cuter than Steve.

Yeah, I remember watching her play, and I was like "she seems a lot worse than I remember, she's rolling and air dodging a lot", then I realized the clip was from years ago and was like "that's why".

Many of us really want to see more Hololive/Nijisanji like the old days. Unfortunately the collabs are few and far between, and apart from FBK, Matsuri and Choco, they're careful to avoid collabing with the guys.
@@ex_potato yup, the only I know who actively collab with nijisanji boys only subaru with maimoto, and tge other with nijisanji girls such as okayu & shiina, matsuri & hoshikawa, there is a time in apex tournament when Akina from nijisanji got in the same team with roboco and ayame but sadly, there is no stream from them and only akina react to it in some of clip, if you curious you can search akina x hololive apex
@@rftaurust3025 I saw that clip when it came out. It is what it is. I prefer to believe that it's more of a personal decision by most of the girls, rather than a fear of backlash.

I think there is also a clip where Aqua and Kuzuha interacts for the first during mario cart tournment.
It seems like most of these collabs are thanks to these game tournaments, I wish they held more of these tournaments between hololive and nijisanji

Aqua as a Cloud main really likes using end lag moves the most. But then again I'm a joker main that just plays Cloud for fun so I'm not that sure.
This is a two year old clip and iirc she plays cloud better now than she did then. Don't know enough about smash to know if she plays differently, though.

Aqua has a bit of trouble with spacing the character compared to Kanae. Aqua also doesn't know her "out of shield" options. Because of this, she tends to prioritize side rolls. It also seems Kanae doesn't know how to punish excessive side rolls. Both characters are unsafe to edge guard with, but I can say Aqua's edge guard at the very end was great.
Sorry if I sound nitpicky. I played a bunch of Smash Ultimate with my friend.
yeah, well, this is a 2 years old clip, Aqua movement now is way better and she just reached Elite with cloud 3 weeks ago. And I must say, her steve is even better than her cloud. (She chose to VIP cloud first because it was her goal since two years ago, and unlike Cloud, steve is ugly lol)
