Aqua is really pro gamer... Too bad that that side of her rarely came out.
Totally. She was even really good at LoL... there're not that much VTubers that are good at ESports.
Rarely? If you watch her regularly and not just clips, you'd know that it comes out all the time. Even in Minecraft when she's being more chill, she has fairly frequent moments of pro gamer.
she's not good at smash tho LOL beating a krool that doesnt even know how to punish a missed upb onstage isnt anything to brag about
@@biohero11 First of all, Aqua never brags about anything... so that's just out of the discussion. And second, she reached VIP with Cloud, I'm not a SB player but being ranked top 1000 in any esport is quite decent, and at least in my opinion it has extra merit when she's at the same time good at apex, minecraft, singing, streaming, and maintaining her 'entertainer' character while playing at a relatively high level.
@@biohero11 With that being said, of course that calling her "pro gamer" is just a big miss. But I don't think the original comment actually meant to call her what "pro gamer" actually means

Honestly, for someone who at the time wasn't even in VIP, she played pretty darn well. Things like ledge trapping and advantage could use a bit of work, but she had a solid neutral and didn't constantly mash bad defensive options in disadvantage, not bad at all compared to most of the people I run into when I accidently knock a character out of Elite.

That King K. Rool was actually legit just jabbing her at every given moment.
Now I am really waiting for Aqua/Amelia APEX collab!
The rage/salt in that stream would be epic, through they will both try to hold it.
They already played Apex together but wasn't on stream. Wish they would collab sooner or later.
Ame had proven that when 2 negatives cross = seiso, so even if we expect salt onion, we will get a seiso result in the end.

I don't play SB at all so I don't really have an idea of what's good and bad but she reached that VIP thing with Cloud, isn't that quite decent?
@@holoyume it’s the Japanese equivalent of elite smash but i’m not sure which characters she has in elite smash so i can’t say she’s bad, but she had very not good habits when she played

@@Fat_Koner she played with Steve until up to VIP, then switched to Cloud because she thinks he's cute, and he was her first main.
I've seen plenty of Smash veterans criticize her bad habits. I don't play it myself, but with so many consistent reports, I take it to be true. Abadango wiped the floor with her last year, despite a heavy handicap.
Still, like you said, she's above average for a more casual player. It's the same in most of her games. Jack of all games, master of none!
@@Fat_Koner oh dude she has horrible habits. but the fact that we can critique her like this is a good thing in her case since it seems like she kinda picked up some fundamental concepts. honestly I'd be a lot more excited to watch if she got better though
