Best way to get over that crap is to keep active. I don't know your symptoms, but I had fevers like a mofo with headaces and light was very sensitive to my eyes. Wishing and praying for a speedy recovery.
I think the best reason is at least you can get parts for the t850. The t350s cannot be found in junkyards locally anymore. I hope you get feeling better!
I actually have a much bigger selection of t350 than t850 and in my experience with a 1g acr that's been 9.80s work with the t350 its lighter and if you face harden the gears/shafts and get a good lsd it's just as bulletproof but flat shifts kill both at big power. Honestly the t850 takes more tq out of the box but the lsd is the weakest part of the t350. Both need shafts and gears if your over 600hp and expect it to live although its alot cheaper to build a t350hd than a t850. Mine was done at home diy for pennies and it's been 3yrs and shes fine. Now you have better axles from get but I dont think anyone running anything bigger than a 20g on these trusts stock axles anyways.
This hard work and sweating you ass off is how you keep your body tip top. It'll help you get over being sick faster than laying in the bed crying about it. Let your body know you ain't got time for being sick. There's cars out there that aren't gonna rag themselves out.
T350 HD is rated for 165tq the t850 is rated for 320tq but I can say from experience that once you put a lsd in the t350 it's pretty strong especially after some hardened shafts and gears.
I personally wouldn't recommend it unless you're high hp drag build and just need a stronger trans. Just my opinion though... the car was wayyy more fun on the t350 with the 3.94 final drive. I regret to doing the swap if I'm being honest.
@BoostandBadHabits I wish I could find more t350 trans... I had a 3.55 and I loved it! I am eating the 3.94 trans I have now... only on 18psi.. I also NEED a lsd. I run 225/50r16
@nook816 I had some sticky 615k+ tires on this one and 28 psi boost on the atp 57trim kit no issues wot shifting it daily. Guess I got a good one. It had the mpx lsd in it aswell. I loved the tight ratio. Made the car feel way more zippy and responsive.
