terrible match making tbh. coach ray is a world level arm wrestler but not elite (top 8-10) in his weight class/category. you can make the argument that the entire lightweight/middle weight latvian team (vlad/janis/kristaps) are all better than coach ray, and are all lighter as well.
engin on the other hand is arguably the greatest, if not one of the greatest lightweight pullers of all time. and now he's even heavier than he used to be. complete mismatch as expected.
no disrespect to coach ray, but they should've matched engin with another current/former world champion (75-85kg maybe)

Totally agree, they made the match because they are both "youtube personalities" with a lot of followers, but (with all respect to ray who is a great puller) they have a totally different background and we can see it here

Engin wanted an "easier" opponent here to test the waters. Engin had been on a break/retirement for a year. It's not really Coresports fault

How old is Engin? My lord he destroyed Coach Ray. I think John and Devon in their older ages lit a fire in Engin... would love to see John vs. Engin.

No reason for this mismatch, but at least Engin should have been forced to actually finish his pins to the pad. "Palm up" is not the definition of a pin. Plenty of guys go palm up an inch or two from the pad, hold a defensive position and then come back. Thumbs down on phantom pins.
