I was shocked when I first heard that Brent even had addiction issues. You’d never know it with how he carries himself. He’s come so far and I’m very proud. Been a fan since 2015

He sure has I can remember seeing them in a cow pasture back in 03 , I ended up hanging out with them and we or may not have taken a few roxy's lol... but was a good time no doubt, probably one of the coolest shows and definitely the coolest thing I had ever experienced ! But back then it was a whole different group of guys in the band, Zach and berry are the only originals left !

If I had a choice of the only and last thing I got to do. It would be to just be able to make a difference through the most pure and heart felt way. To connect through MUSIC Let's each individual relate to the same thing as the person next to them. even though they probably wouldn't have ever found commen ground. Now they are a little closer and that'll make understanding the other a bit easier on the road to understanding that we're All in this together as one. I hope that made sense...lol

I Love that Brent said like shedding your skin.. Otep says the same thing in a song of theirs.. 'shed my skin again, this will be my best revenge ' and she repeats it as like in a chorus.. but yeah turn negatives around and, if anything, use it for fuel.. but anyways thanks for sharing...

I’ve watched MANY MANY interviews with Brent Smith, this one really annoyed me. This Mike dude kept overtaking Brent, kept turning things to himself, and obviously knows NOTHING about Brent before the interview. Really didn’t pay any attention to what Brent was saying.
However… I’m glad that he got called out about Texas! 😂🤣 that’s alright though, I’ll go to Wisconsin to see him, very much worth it!!
Also… if Mike actually LISTENED to dead don’t die he would know the meaning of the song! “The heart still beats” ummm last I knew, when you’re dead.. dead… heart doesn’t beat.
This interview really made me mad. If you’re going to interview someone, do some homework.
It’s my opinion, I said what I said I may get some hate for it. But… come on dude.

They need to call back Jasin, Shinedown are already years just very poppy and softy. Bring back the rock soul in the band please.

I would say “America Burning” and “Planet Zero” were definitely a jab (no pun intended) at all the ‘woke’ nonsense and cultural/governmental insanity. PS: “Start your day with outrage” is a direct quote from “1984”, George Orwell’s warning to future generations… which we apparently completely ignored.

People really change from age 20 to 50 especially because of the lifestyle they live. He looks clean, chiseled, and fit. I thought the same thing too. Looks way different than the 2003 version of him.
