Love this interview ❤. Heard SIMPLE MAN in 2003. Literally drove straight to my Best Buy to buy Leave A Whisper. Every song is a MASTERPIECE. Got to meet Brent in 2003 and 2004 at my Chicago HOB. A voice like no other rock star. Every album and live tour is phenomenal.
I'm still mad at myself for not truly discovering Shinedown until this year. Never realized so many songs I liked was Shinedown. So I, of course had to buy all of their albums. I feel music speaks to where I am in my life. I guess now was the time.💜
That’s one of my favorites things about Bent!! His vocal cadence is the same to me. As a southerner I hear the southern cadence just like people from different NY Burroughs have certain cadences. I love that I can hear the south in him after all these years. So many, too many lose it in show business. They don’t work to lose their NY, Northern, Midwest accents just southern. Drives me nuts. The list of people from the south that you’d never guess is long. Props to them.
Love Shinedown, Smith & Myers, & AMMM. Brent can sing anything, and Zack can play anything on any guitar he picks up. They are amazing gentlemen. This was a great interview!
I have always loved Shinedown's range of musical taste/influences and that variety shows in their work. It keeps it interesting, it leaves fans in suspense as to what the next move will be, and I think that lends to the longevity of the band. I also love that the guitarist from my all time favorite band, names U2 as his all time favorite! 😁 And maybe not a polka album but what about one polka song? That would be very interesting. 🤣
The way that they are on stage they are Brothers enjoy life.
Greatest band ever!
Brett and his Band freaking ROCK!!! Shinedown rules.
This is AWESOME!! Love Shinedown!
Huge Shinedown fan from the beginning.
I love them so much 💜

They are brothers from another lifetime and found each other in this lifetime.
