Awesome to see Osoyoos on the channel. I have ridden there a few times and always felt the landscape was unique and a great option for riding in the interseason and winter due to the mild temps and lack of snow. Although there are clearly some passionate trailbuilders, every time I have been there I have ridden alone which has always sketched me out! Great to see the area (and builders) get some recognition.
Couldn't agree more!
Good timing! I'm driving through Osoyoos on Sunday on the way to the Kootenays to ride Rossland (Whiskey!), Castlegar & Nelson. Looks like we'll need to leave early and stop to stretch our legs (and then maybe a beer at their local microbrew, which is pretty good). Immediate economic impact for the area for the sponsorship! Love these BC travel series.
Not sure which way you're going back, but hit Merritt if you can. Incredible riding there. If you're riding Osoyoos, which we did two weeks ago, be prepared for some grunty climbing.
@@rrolleman4879 Thanks. Ya, I've heard good things about Merritt. We won't be going through there this time, but I'll make sure to add it to the list. Thanks.
Pulling the curtain back on a bit of a BC hidden gem. It gets overlooked lots as Lower Mainlanders drive past to get to other spots. We've shuttled twice up to the Kruger backside to ride Cowbell and Shady Lady with kids (4 and 6 the first time we were there). Good to get a better look at the rest of the riding, a few good options for dad n mom to get a kid free lap or two in.
Rode there yesterday. Outstanding! I was seriously impressed. Met Matt working on the trails part way down. Really nice guy. We rode Tricky Bits, Skyfall & Moving Parts. I'd call it blue flow with some great optional black features. Some cool jumps in there too. Don't miss the pizza at the Sage pub after you ride (old school amazing thick pizza).
"So, how do you not die on that?" Bahahaha, gets right to the heart of the matter, eh? Smart kid. Awesome video. I'll be in that area in a few weeks. Probably too hot to ride some of it except early in the morning but we'll give it a shot!
Hit Penticton (Naramata ) if you can. The Three Blind Mice area has a lot of different trails for you to play around on.
Awesome trails. Your video quality is top tier - nice work! I’m appreciating your effort 😊
Nice that you got Sessions in the video, good to have a proper shop that services bikes and skis/snowbords in town. Brandon is a great guy.
Wow, Looks so so good! Love the control you had going down that chute...Bravo!!!!
Good to know! As an Alaskan, I am always looking for good shoulder season riding destinations!
Looks like fun! I wish our National Forest Service was like yours... you guys are extremely lucky to gave a government that gets it! 🤘😆🤘
adding it to the list! no idea there was riding there
You and me both!
Sucks when the camera doesn’t do steeps justice. There were some fun editing tricks I saw through that one that were cool. I like how the emoji’s were moving on the one clip. 👍
Hell yeah, looks amazing. I'd ride in Canada if i had more time and money. Nice Ripmo. I just got one myself.
“And yes, kids are the worst”😂😂😂
Amazing location a most go!!! thank you for sharing !!
Every time I see you contemplate a line or some feature there is a funny voice in my head saying " you gotta s t e p u p t o t h e j u m p ya gotta stepuptothejump" weird, where have I heard that before, lol.
🤔😂
Great TRAILS!
Not bad for a government job.
Oooooo. Ive got to ride here!!!
14:17 Are you able to go up and over the rock pile on the left of the chute? It would make the end a bit more of a straight shot. Regardless, looks amazing!
riding this well with bronchitis is wild
The steepness of that trail did not show on camera 😅
Not even close!
such a cool vid!
You always have such original content. How?
Let this be a lesson kids: don't allow your main trail builder and guy in charge also enjoy a "simple little triple black diamond section" in his trails.
Looks fun for sure!
huh?
Triple black ?
Wut?
How much did the government pay? Looked like fun riding :)
Have you tried a Nukeproof Reactor?
Does any body know the music that plays at 1:36?
was there any deer or bears?
That's why Leon Edwards is the sexiest man alive
What the fuck is an "Anarchist Protected Area"?!
First
yes Kids the worse, in a good way!
Sorry but I'm out anytime a motorcycle is in the video. I'm a bicyclist, and I want that separate from my motorcycling.
Might have been a great video, but you will lose me as a regular viewer if you keep the ebikes as a regular part of it.
That e-bike is a fantastic tool for us as MTB content creators. Full stop. For Hunter to have that bike to help with the weight of that big ol camera bag is a game-changer for us. There will be plenty more to come. Hopefully you’ll stick around despite using a bike that simply adds a few more watts to the riders leg power 🤷🏻♂️
I thought the whole eBike debate was put to bed in 2021. They are here. In the right scenarios for the right people they are great. Time for us to move on.
@@TheLoamRanger unfortunately I won't be then. It's been fun watching your channel grow up, but I'm here for bicycles, not motors.
I hear your point about content creation, but that's not a good enough reason to add motorized cycles to a bicycle channel for me.
Human powered sports are something special, and I want to keep them that way.
@@BarryWalstead I used to feel the same and made sure everyone knew about it when the subject came up (kind of like when 29ers first came on the scene).
I don't own an e-bike, but have ridden a few. You are still getting lots of exercise, it's just different. More km's/miles covered, and more core work on the way up if you push the pace. I still prefer my non e-bike though.
I would encourage you to not paint yourself in a corner by some bike ideology.
Not sure how this is 'bike ideology' or even what you might mean by that.
I don't want or need motors in the sport of bicycles. Motorcycles of all varieties exist, not sure why saying I won't engage with a channel that regularly has motorized cycles on it is 'ideology' like a bad thing.
Why is there this attitude of 'it's inevitable' about these things? We've been sold motorcycles by bicycle makers and instead of laughing in their faces many are eating it up. I don't claim they aren't fun, I'm only saying I won't be engaging with them as bicycles.
Riding in Canada looks amazing, but I’d never go there. I’d never pay money to a people who’s country is quickly becoming a Communist state. Sorry, I try to never mix politics with my love of riding, but every free thinking and living human has a limit.
You may want to diversify your news sources…
What the Loam Ranger said 👆👍
@@TheLoamRangersorry about that guy. He doesn't represent the majority of us.
This guy has ‘free thinking’ and ‘thought-free’ all mixed up
Ya, we Canadians have it rough. The suppression is stifling. It's why there is so much pressure at the US border to build a wall--the volume of Canadians trying to push south is hard to contain. The latest threat is thousands of people putting on disguises of retirees and attempting to get through the border in RVs saying they are heading south to escape the winters. ...but the US border patrol are starting to crack down.
What an amazing trail. Great content as ever fella
Thanks!
look at what I dmed you on Ig!
