Justice done after an absolutely pathetic final offer from the banker. I know he has that empowerment but mathematically that offer was just disgusting
Please remember, he was the banker. People think they are dealing with a decent human being, they were not. Never be fooled. He was and will always be a cold hearted banker.
@@johnking5174 yea but offering stupid low offers like that is more likely going to make someone play on at least to me than take the deal as I'd feel insulted .
I remember at school back in 2008, the day after this was aired, my teacher said 'Wow she took that risk?' when I said what happened at the end. If I was playing that game, I'd have more than likely dealt at £19,500 - far better than £10. Almost £20k would help enormously!
I would have dealt too, but I think Betty went on because all the other players before her had got out of the game cheaply, she wanted to beat the banker.
@@uktrainannouncements3950 Edmondo pointed out two days after Julie's game that these group of players had experienced several terrible games involving Matty, Olga, Simmo, Angela, Diddy, and Allan This trend seemed to start around that time, leading to players leaving the moment they sensed an opportunity to win a little bit money. It appears to have started with Matty's notorious and disastrous game during Easter, which had lingering effects.
I may have dealt at £11,000 not certainly not the £19,500, and I'd argue anyone who would accept £19,500 at the end would be silly to turn down the 11k. If it's worth risking 11k with a 30% chance of crashing and only a 10% chance of an offer higher than 20k, than it's almost certainly worth risking £19,500 for a 50/50 shot at £100,000!
30:42 Did that slip through the censor? Because I've replayed it again and again, and I'm sure she says "So me and Tony can have a f***ing good life.".
Remember the banker just wants to buy the box for as little as possible or in that instance write a cheap cheque out. The whole "the 100k is not on the table" is just the ultimate mind game because while he doesnt know what's on the table, neither does the player. So it could shift a players thinking into swapping, especially if you look at how dangerous the board was at 8 box. The likelihood actually was the box was a blue, but obviously the banker could use that to make a play for reverse psychology.

I think she says fab or full life. Doesn’t sound like fuck to me
Good luck Betty. What's with the spoilers?????
When he says '100,000 is not on the table' does that mean the Banker is hoping that she doesn't win 100k?
Yes

No it’s just his way of tricking her to swap her box
Julia Chang was in the studio
who's Julia Chang again, if I forget to ask?

I wish you wouldn’t give it away and put the winnings in the title, if you’re gonna do it, at least do it in the description. 🙄
