Daytona Sandown Park - TNL Round 5 - Podium Heartbreak! 💔

After a month away from Karting it was great to be back on the track for TNL Round 5 at Sandown Park. This race was on the alternate layout with a small field but competitive field of 11 drivers. I got off to a bit of a bumpy start from P5 but worked my way into P4 and was hunting down P3 & P2 when a gap opened up I was able to swoop into the final podium spot and from then on pressured P2 all the way, I found one opportunity to make the pass but unfortunately I couldn’t make the move stick and it cost me my spot on the podium in the end. Although disappointing to miss out on the podium I was really happy with my pace considering the length of time off & already looking forward to putting it right at the next one! 🏁 #daytona #gopro #karting #racing
