Well! That was so fun to watch! I heard about daylilies being edible, but I had no idea they were cooked in that way. Yum, this I have to try. Hey, Ken you and Cousin Kim certainly make a great team! Thanks for another great video!

Thank you! I am so fortunate she agreed to do it (I only had to beg a little bit!).

My Autumn Minaret just bloomed out! I believe it was my last late bloomer for the season this time around! I may try this next season! This was an awesome idea, and thanks for the tip about not using the fragrant ones. Love these videos so much! 🥰

I had so much fun watching this video! Now Ken I’m just gonna have to trust you that those tasted good. Maybe when I have a whole field of daylilies in my yard I’ll give it a try. But for now my flowers are just too precious to me. Super cute video 🌸‼️

How interesting! You said that one tasted like asparagus but you didn't say what the others tasted like. Can you let us know please/ So curious! Just bought some daylilies and want to try hybridising. Now, I know what to do if I have too many! Lol! If one pod has around 11 seeds, I can see how one can end up with a lot of daylilies! I may not have enough space so I'll have to think this through carefully!

i'd love to see more taste comparison, whether fried or as edible blossom garnish.
which ones taste spicier, or 'soapy' or 'more like asparagus'
because honestly i am more interested in flavor than color
